When I watched "Carol", the most powerful moment for me was when the character Carol Aird told they attorneys that she would not live against her own grain and made the vulnerable request that she be allowed to visit with her daughter even if it had to be supervised.
how could anyone, man or woman, NOT fall in love with Cate Blanchett??? She is the sexiest woman I've seen in a ages, and in this movie she doesn't hold back anything.
Cate Blanchett is the epitome of grace.
I learn so many things whenever I listen to Cate's interviews. She uses so many words that I've rarely heard in casual conversation.
On top of that, she often talks about the role of fear in her life and it amazes me that she can be so candid about it. It's slowly inspiring me to take more risks, or bigger risks.
I will admit I do enjoy her extensive vocabulary. It entices me to grow my own vocabulary 😅

OMG she is so freaking gorgeous and talented.
What an extraordinarily candid intelligent interview! Cate is without question the most articulate actor alive. What I find fascinating about her beauty, which is boundless in it's immensity, is that she grows more beautiful as she ages. This fact speaks to how one sees and defines beauty. Her radiant intellect continues to evolve in ways that are so deeply sensitive. I had the great fortune to see her live in "Street Car Named Desire," and seeing her on stage gives one insight into what is most important to her. Story telling with a live audience is what thrills her. She manages to bring her stage sensibility to the screen in the way she collaborates with all of the players in film making. She is for me the most interesting actor living today.
I agee that she looks better as she ages, she in this interview is more attractive than in Lord of the Rings
this woman is exquisitely talented in so many ways... the more she speaks the more I admire her. She's patently committed to acting and making life through movies
Kate is really at her peak now and you can feel slight frustration on these publicity tours but she does it as she should with patience and grace because it is part of her job but she does make sure nobody steps on her toes and that they know who's in charge. She always corrects assumptions very well and very direct way.

Very engaging & friendly Actress. Met her in New York, down to earth with her Fans. It was 12:30 in the Morning when she came out after The Present on Broadway & signed Autographs. I'll always remember it was 30 degrees. I'll always pay to see her.

You know my drama techer told me the other day a true artist is a person who doesn't know wht he'll do tomorrow and where they day will lead. I don't think I've ever heard of someone who has more artistic spirit than Cate. It was a fantastic interview thank you so much for making it!

The interview itself contains quite profound conversations all the way through but from time to time, the interviewer sounds a bit judgemental and pushy in a way. Cate is brilliantly patient with the situation and seems really honest and down to earth.
I concur, I love how she speaks up if she disagrees, when talking to anyone.

Love the idea of the interview and I enjoy Cate talking like this, however I'm not a fan of the guy she's talking to. There's just something about his transitions, it's not very smooth.
+isabellamaria914 Yes. It's called having a conversation, not a prearranged set of questions. That's what I do. Not to everyone's taste.
I find it very enjoyable. And apparently Cate enjoyed it as well. It's very refreshing to be asked a question based on an answer you just gave. It's not only smarter, but you feel like the interviewer is actually paying attention to what you're saying.

savedfaves she is worth 90M according to other websites it kinda differs according to different sites, I think the reason why actress don’t make as much money as actors is because the movies where the big money is at are action/superhero movies, which usually has male leads, just a theory not sure.

The things she undergone and the stress she's under and that her only friend she can share her worries with is also one of the things that are stressing because of her husband's jealousy. Her inner conflicts on following what the norm is and wanting to spend her life with her child or to be herself and become happy and accept who she really is is a huge burden for a person. 12:49
