It is hysterical to me we've reached the stage where video games are seen as too slow for the human brain..like the kid was reading War and Peace or something....
@@flithbrin Do I have to log on Era and actually check my questing guides? The one I'm looking at is in 19 sections with each section being about 100-200 queststeps each. You could break it into even more if you dedicate more quest steps to telling the player how to travel between them like the "premium" options but that's unecessary.
@@Justagamerl It was a joke, but now I feel compelled to say yes. Log on era and count them, one at a time just to make sure they didn't skip any like going from 1 to 3 with no step 2, they might have padded the number on the guide to make it look like they did more work than they did. Get counting :)
fair point, but I gave him that since he also uses quest helper in runescape. he needs to be guided otherwise he gets lost and doesn't have fun. I would go without addons if I could but it's just not feasible
If you've ever introduced someone to the game (especially gen z people) you'd they cannot play a game without direction put in their face. Everything they know is trying to grab their attention with as much dopamine as possible so they will get bored very easily without a check list of things to keep them on track if they were to swerve off that path. They will genuinely say things like "what's the point of playing if there is no more rewards to get?". The days of exploring or playing games for just the enjoyment alone is over for my generation. None of my generation could ever play something like unreal tournament 2004 or halo CE multiplayer, they'd get bored because the game isn't telling them about some reward to go towards.
@@Rare987 well they have to get trained out of it somehow, otherwise they're doomed because nothing worth doing throws big glowy arrows in your face in order for you to do it
I think it’s a coin toss 😂 if he’s already like that there’s the chance he would been stuck failing that coffee delivery quest and just deleted the game
"Is this the game?"

That is the game, yes, you have approximately 4000 more quest steps until max level
4000? Lowballing a bit unless you're dungeon grinding.

for a new player dont slam a restedxp playthrough into his face, let him explore by himself, he will never have a secound first time of vanilla
