Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on UA-cam, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on UA-cam. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on UA-cam, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.
If you enjoy this video and my reactions make sure you subscribe to the channel, like the video and comment down below which video you would like to see me react to next.
This is a reaction video used to educate and give my feedback on the song and artists.

Take deep dive into REO Speedwagon. You won’t be disappointed in any selection. Roll With The Changes, Ridin The Storm Out, Time For Me to Fly. All great.
REO was a huge part of radio play back then. Women loved them but so did the guys! Many great tunes and hits! Keep diving into this band, you won't be disappointed ❤
Roll with the changes!!!
You should check out "Golden Country" by REO. This song is almost 50 yrs. old and still as relevant today as back in 1972, R.I.P. Gary Richrath.
Great great song.
Great choice...RIP Gary one of the greatest to ever take a stage
Time for me to fly has a great drop and harmonies.
Golden country is a must to check out. Roll with changes, time for me to fly, back on the road again, ridin the storm out, keep pushing, like you do live version are also great songs to check out
we had it all! rock, punk, disco, funk,r&b, new wave, metal to be 18 again! i went to every concert i could!
They have a few songs worth hearing. Try "Can't Fight This Feeling", "Keep On Loving You", "Roll With The Changes", "Time For Me To Fly" and "Don't Let Him Go".
All bangers, plus the live track, "Riding the Storm Out."
Unironically, as a former concert junkie (as in, I saw 2-3 a week for 20-ish years) --REO was top 3 *ever*. Saw them last in 1996, them winding down, and they brought down the huge house the SAME as a quarter-century before. They time-warped me back to a time that I thought had left me!
Roll With The Changes is another great song by REO you will enjoy. Also Time For Me To Fly.
I saw many a REO concert here in the mid-west in the 70's and 80's. The more hits they produced, the better their sets. One song that in time became their go to encore, was recognizable in the first two seconds of the soaring synth and was highly anticipated by the whole crowd was Ridin' the Storm Out. The live version off their first live album is the version that charted and later became a staple on hard rock stations.
REO has such satisfying backing music. They don't have VH guitar or Rush drums, but somehow it is just as amazing. You just feel that groove in your bones.
No man initially wants to believe they are being cheated on but when the reality hits it hits hard. Gary Richrath was such a good , tasteful guitar player. R. I. P. Gary.
Loved watching you enjoy this. 🙂
My brother and i grew up listening to this amazing group now that he is gone i still listen to them. My son got to see them a few years ago when they came to the area and he just loved them. They are so iconic with so many great hit songs. Awesome reaction to an iconic group.
Saw them in ‘82 as a birthday present... Great show !!!
"hi inFIdelity" from REO Speedwagon...played it to pieces way back especially this tune. Love Kevin Cronin vocals and Gary Richrath's beautiful guitar playing. Great song / album...thanks Shawn..🎶🎤🎸👍
One of the top 10 solos of all time. Richrath = GOLD. Such a great guitarist.
REO, dont disappoint. One of my favorites.
reo speedwagon - "ridin the storm out". Best sounding version is: (Live on U.S. Tour - 1976).
Thanks for the music Shawn - always enjoy your reaction.
I saw REO in concert in the late 70’s in a small auditorium in St. Joseph, Missouri! It was awesome 👏🏼 Thanks for taking me back to a great time 💙👵🏼
this was from the album Hi Infidelity from 1981. It was the #1 selling album of the year. Also from this album was the number 1 hit Keep On Lovin You. They've been rocking since 1971 and have over 20 top 40 hits. Many consider their best song is Roll With The Changes from 1978 album You Can Tune A Piano But You Cant Tuna Fish; which also included the best break up song of all time Time For Me To Fly. Many more songs from the 70's and 80's. Riding the Storm Out Live is one of their best as well
Back then, word of mouth was our social media ! This is what you call OG Power Ballad ! Great reaction….. please check out their Epic signature track,
“Riding The Storm Out” (1973) 🎸
Big hit high school 1980.
Riding The Storm Out is a rocker by REO you should give a listen.
Great song and reaction
Great song
We wore this album out in the 70s.
I love the first few verses.
Edit: and this song.
I think their song back on the road again should be an answer to this song! Peace!
Seeing what great music does to you is extremely exciting and I am celebrating with you.
You are going to love REO.
Puttin on your bedroom eyes. I love doin that 😊 played this album to death in 1981❤
Roll With The Changes is a must!!
Brings back high school memories.
"Keep On Loving You" should be next!
Their sound can be addicting, I see in the comments Golden Country and Roll With The Changes are mentioned, bangers man.
Many great songs from this band. Loved your reaction
OMG I still remember all the words to this song. 😉 I guess I loved this song.❤Stay safe
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Time for me to fly. Studio version, is another great one by REO
This is on my running playlist to this day.😎💪❤️
What's funny is, in your 2nd & 3rd & 100th listen to this s0ng it wiII get even better, if u can beIieve it
My senior year of high school had some bangers
So fun to watch you loving this stuff! I so remember the summer this album was everywhere. I was in 10th grade, and everyone owned a copy. The songs were all so catchy.
reo speedwagon - "like you do". R.E.O./T.W.O. Studio version sounds great.
Great reaction! Another great underated REO song is Tough Guys.....please react to it
REO had some great hits in the 70s. Please check out Riding the storm out, and 157 Riverside Ave, preferably live for that last one. You will live them...theres lots more EARLY music. Then they switched to elevator music...pissed off Gary Richrath, lead guitar, and left the band.
Forgot to mention Roll With The Changes, it is also FanFreakingTastic..😂
In 1983 I went on a first date with this chick. Sometime along the evening I said to her "Journey or REO" she did hesitate at all "REO all day" 2 years later I married her. She's back there in one of the spare bedrooms playing with a couple of our granddaughters right now
That is so awesome 😁❤️
Might I suggest any song from REO Speedwagon's 2nd album, inventively titled R.E.O. - T.W.O. Their cover of Chuck Berry's "Little Queenie" is a masterpiece, and "Like I Do" and "Music Man" are excellent rockers. Keep up the good work!
Check out golden country! Or roll with the changes!
☮️💙💙💙🔥🔥
"Time for me to fly" is a great song. Check it out please
This was the album that catapulted REO to huge popularity and destroyed their rock cred forever 😢
REO Speedwagon is brilliant and screw "rock cred". Seriously....rock cred???🤣🤣🤣
@davidlionheart2438 yes listen to golden country, turkey trot live version, like you do live, ridin the storm out. Gary richrath was great guitarist unfortunately got kicked out of the band for his drinking and Kevin Cronin turned the band into another soft band like Chicago
@@davidlionheart2438 yes, they were a great hard rock band who turned into a bubble gum band ala Chicago, Journey, etc.
pure soul food isnt it!!
