I really enjoyed listening to you and watching you here! Your background is a bonus and I like that you transferred what you learned in printmaking into the gelli plate printing. I am an artist and collage is one of my elements I use with fabric as well as with paper. I didn't even know that a gelli plate could be found in 20"x16" until now! Thanks.
Dear Robyn, Love the mark making you created today. I also appreciate your generosity and class when responding to comments. May Lakshmi bless you with abundance and joy, again and again. 😍
Oh my Goodness ❤️❤️..As always Fabulous!!! You always for sooooo many years that I have been watching and cheering get my creative mind flowing💕Thank You as always for sharing your wonderful talent with us🤗🤗
When I was in college I worked on screen print like that and not very comfortable doing it. This just reminded me of that and I did do 5 very large works from it. I think I need to get out of my comfort zone and just play, it’s only paper and paint thanks for the reminder and you doing you
Mark making yes!!! I always think how one day i would like to just connect all the small work i have made into one big installation (the visual tory of my life i guess). Go Robyn, go!!💝🍀
Always relaxing and inspiring to watch you Mark Making and printing. I’m working on scaling my art up from a small book, so hearing your process of doing the same for larger pieces is appreciated. Happy arting!
Thx Erin...Yes going bigger isn't just about working larger, you do have to scale ideas up often times using different products that are suited for larger expression. Tune your awareness to the spatial relationships that you like in smaller pieces etc. Thanks for hanging out and the best to you as you work through this in your studio! xo
“Mark Making” with Robyn is like the best cup of coffee watching the sunrise❤

Mark Making
Your mark making is always fun to watch. Funnily enough, when I do it, I instinctively work right to left, the way Hebrew is written.
Beautiful! Your own hand and rhythm powerful xo
What type of substrate are you using for that large of a piece? Your work is so inspirational. Thank you for these sessions.
Loved watching this…. May I ask how big is your plate? Do you make your own large plate? Thankyou ❤
Thx Jacki it's a 16x20
Thank you❤The size of the plate is 16x20, i do not make my own unfortunately lol
I did not know that Gelli plates came so large. What are the dimensions?
yes! 16x20
@@RobynMcClendon Thank you! What do they tend to cost?
Hobby Lobby was knowingly involved in the theft of antiquities, Robyn…I wouldn’t advocate for them
Wow I didn't know any articles on this that you found compelling? You can post here I'm sure we all would like to know Thx xo
