    Sorry, can't remember the season/episode number, but the plot basically goes;
    Girl is a part of a swim team and they're at a competition. Meningitis breaks out, but the girl here has been having additional issues. House demands to see her and things start to go haywire. Typical House MD episode. Meanwhile, the coach is there to support her, because her parents were hours away and the team was traveling. The coach keeps praising her, telling her she's doing good, that she's really mature for her age, you know, stuff a creep would say. So when everyone discovers she's pregnant, the audience assumes it was the coach.
    Nope. Coach was a red herring. It was a teenage boy that was on another swim team.

      She died from an "accidental" drug overdose! Her mother tried to say her death was related to "seizures" she had, but the truth is that this girl was 21 years old and living in an apartment that was in behind her parent's home. According to records, the primary cause was reported as the combined toxic effects of hydrocodone and and difluoroethane with carisoprodol.

    • @patricia1333
      @patricia1333 3 місяці тому

      @@SP-io7ljthe news agencies messed up that sentence so badly. Carisoprodol is a pill format muscle relaxer. Technically it would be hydrocodone and carisoprodol oral consumption plus difluoroethane inhalation. And calling difluoroethane a refrigerant in those articles doesn’t explain the common source: air duster cans.

      It was a play on words. He didn’t outright want to tell Cuddy what happened to the girl because she hadn’t said it herself. I remember this one. This girl was at a diving event when someone passes out. It’s determined they had bacterial meningitis. This starts an epidemic where all doctors have to test and (if necessary) treat, those who were exposed. During the testing House meets this girl and identifies symptoms in her that aren’t meningitis related. Spoiler alert: After they figure out that she’s pregnant she’s determined to get an abortion and not tell her parents. She tells House that the boy who got her pregnant turned out to be a jerk and House corrects her and calls him a “felon”. After the procedure she breaks down crying and seemingly tells her parents everything although you can’t hear them speaking as House watches from a distance. House is such a good show.
