AWESOME IDEA BRO ,YOU CAN USE BONDO TO SHAPE THE WOOD AND ALL THE AREAS IN , YOU COULD REALLY DRESS UP THE STOCK AND MAKE IT LOOK SHOW ROOM WITH A LITTLE PAINT ,PLUS REINFORCE IT DRAMATICALLY !
Not a bad mod. You could just shoot pellets instead to avoid the double loading of BBs. Pellets are more accurate and apparently BBs over time will hurt the gun stock. Also, removing the plastic piece at the tip of the barrel can increase accuracy. Just put a scope on after you do that. Safe shooting man!
R G The two stage was kinda accidental when I shoved the pistol grip into the receiver. I actually like the scrappy look and I've had this rifle in its current form for many years, never gonna change it. I did have to replace a few seals a couple years ago from a salvaged 880. I've got several 880 airguns, this one is unique. Plus, if I was going to spend 20 bucks on parts to restore it I might as well spend a bit more and buy a new one, kinda misses the point of junk bashing parts to fix a otherwise throw away airgun. I didn't spend a dime on this 880, rather keep it that way. Once it is dead to the trash it will go.

You do realize for about $20 you could have had that rifle pretty much back in its original condition ?
