I’m new here & decided to make this tonight, but instead of rice; I’m making quinoa. Y’all 🤤 it’s SO good!! Plus, it’s quick & easy! I can see this being a favorite!🤩🤩🤩 *Edit* I had to fix me a plate & stop myself from eating off the left overs🤤🤤🤤
Well let me be the first to say hello and thank you for tuning in! I’m glad that you enjoyed it and thanks for leaving your feedback! I hope you find more recipes on my channel to be inspired by! ❤️
I love how you are so quick and to the point, but with so much personality. I've never made shrimp creole before so I'm watching a couple videos to get a sense, but this is the only one I didn't have to skip through stuff that could have been edited out. Thank you so much for a great video!
You are absolutely welcome! Thank you for watching and leaving your feedback about my channel! I truly appreciate you for being here and I'm glad that you find the content enjoyable! Enjoy the recipe and let me know how it goes!
@@ThatGirlCanCook_ Just made it tonight, following your recipe. It was delicious! Thank you! We love your channel. My son and I made your red beans and rice yesterday, also a hit!
“Now you can add whatever seasonings you like. If you don’t have any Creole seasonings, honey, just make you some! A little bit of cayenne, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and some salt!”
I made this for the family last night, and my Husband loved it. My daughter said she knew it would be good by the way the house smelled. Thank you so very much for sharing.
Girl, I was worried when I read the title because people outside of Louisiana be messing up our food but you did that! You got everything right I would eat your shrimp creole.
This is the CLOSEST to the way that my family made this dish when I was a kid. I'm in South GA and we used fresh caught wild, white shrimp. I don't like raw green peppers, but when they are cooked in a savory way like this, they are delicious. Glad that I found this recipe!
This looks so good GF that I am not looking any further at other recipes! I like that deep red color of yours, I can almost smell all those great ingredients! Can't wait to get started ! TY ! 😋😋😋😋😋😋😍✌️
Thank you! I went to nola on october and the firts thing i tried was this, and i was so in love with the taste, now I'm cooking ur recipe and I'm so happy that is a spicy recipe! So delicious!
OMG!! Made this EXACTLY as recipe stated. It was delicious. Had a brilliant idea to pan fry salmon. Laid it on a bed of cilantro lime rice and topped the salmon with the shrimp Creole and lord have mercy!! Thanks so much for sharing this recipe.
Ok so I watched this video about 5 to 6 times before making the dish, just because I love the way your concise videos go. And I would regret not also commenting on the personality you are. The food... So excellent of course I made minor tweeks to suit my family's taste but your method is spot on. Thank you for this and just keep it up.
Hi there Jeremy! I'm more than happy to hear that you find my videos pleasurable as well as useful! And I'm also happy to hear that you and your family enjoyed the recipe. Thank you so much for watching, subscribing, and trying out the dish! I hope that you find more videos to try on my channel!
Wow!! This looks so good!! 😊 I have to try to make this one day! Thank you for teaching the world how to make this amazing dish! Keep up the great work!! 😇🙏
This is how old I am haha, When I was in grade school in Metairie Louisiana, that's what we had for lunch about once a month. Nice, Thanks for posting. I've been looking for a good recipe.
This is the best recipe I've seen. That looks amazing I'm cooking some creole tomorrow for my wife and son. I can't wait to used this recipe. I'm gonna double it so I can take some to work next week. Great video strait to the point
Sweetheart, Im going tent camping in two weeks....roughing it a bit. I always try to have one very delicious and diiferent meal besides steak, hamburgers and chicken. This year its' Shrimp Creole and Im following YOUR recipe for this. Looking forward to it, thanks for the video.
Recently moved to LA from europe and tried this tonight as a first local home-made dish. It was awesome! Added some chunks of catfish which was a great idea
❤Perfect! and so similar to mine! To really make this an even quicker meal, I do everything except add extra pepper flakes ( because my husband can't stand a lot of heat)and recombine shrimp in the morning. After cooking, I refrigerate the shrimp but leave the sauce on the stove. IT WILL GET HOTTER just by standing. I'll remove my shrimp about an hour before serving to get the chill out. Heat your sauce slowly, add more spice to taste, cook your rice, and turn off the heat. Add your shrimp back, stirring gently to heat through. Set the table, plate, and enjoy. This makes it seem like I've whipped together this awesome meal in the time it takes to make rice, lol!!😂😂
Hey mam ! Cincinnati ohio here , I followed you’re recipe 99% I just forgot to get the rice lol. But let me tell you this was a very hearty clean dish. I used probably 2lbs of shrimp so I had to go heavier on the added ingredients….. but oooooowweeee that was A very DELICIOUS PLATE! Whoooo deyyyy. Thank u very much. U got it u got it 💯🍻🔥
Aww, I loved this video! I was looking up Creoloe recipes to compare and contrast to work out the last of these 'market tomatoes' i roasted. I saw 4:11, numerologically my birthday on the length of this tube video, and I was captivated and watched the whole thing! I love to cook, i love that you added micro greens to the garnish and mentioned your green peppers were aesthetics! I agree, and its a little spicier than the sweet bells. I have thyme and oregano in my garden and I haven' t dried them yet, so will be adding a little bit of both more for health benefits than flavor, but either way! MMm. thanks for sharing your creative passions
Made it today for my second time, recipe is pretty simple, but got bomb flavor, my grandma used to make shwimpppp creole all the time when i was a kid🍤🍤 🍤🍤🍤🎺🎷⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️
I Thank you for the quick and preciseness of ingredients to add as I followed the video word for word. Stop, pause and rewind to hear when to add the flavors. So Thank you again my Sista!!!!😘
Recipe looks good. I might consider adding a little white wine when you add your stock. i usually put shrimp stock, but chicken stock good too. also, mix some flour into water or stock to thicken it so the shrimp creole has a creamy like texture. Don't add any broth or anything till your trinity is soft. 🥰
I've made this before a few times, it's scary that it's actually easier and faster to make than say, Jambalaya! And that's not that hard, either. I guess buying a rice cooker would be a good idea, too.

Thanks Kassandra! Enjoy!
Omg can't wait to try this on Saturday
And Another One! 🔥💯
Absolutely!
Can I add a regular can of diced tomatoes and the fire roasted together? Or is that going to mess up the flavor?
Absolutely you can!!
YESSSSSS! 🔥🔥🔥

so excited to try this! Is creole seasoning a must? Can I substitute it with old bay seasoning?
Creole seasoning is not required and old bay can definitely be used but I would probably sub it with a Cajun seasoning! ❤️
Let me know how it goes!
