      I wonder if another OMC can get away from OMCs.

    Oh. man, those are some hard losses, but I really dig how you put pressure on your opponents and am learning a lot as you verbalize your thoughts throughout the hands. Tilt hits us all but you look like you have nerves of steel to me!! Keep grinding :)

    I think hard to get away from that too. However, one thing I have noticed from OMC's is their tendency to flat A-K pre-flop, therefore their 3-bet range can only be Q-Q, K-K, and A-A. Q-Q would totally shut down on that board, so the turn check-raise is that one unfortunate hand. Of course, easy to speak of in hindsight. If I was in that spot I could not get away either

      If I did fold, there would probably be a lot of messages telling me it was a horrible fold =).

    Tough to watch! Do you take a break or take day off when you get these days? I’d imagine after first two coolers is a sign to just take the day off.
    Also great content - I’m catching up to being relevant now! Please post more!

      Yup I do take breaks and moderate my sessions, mainly to avoid burnout from poker in general. There will always be beats that are gross, but tbh I've just seen too many and have accepted it as part of the game. If it happens to me I usually just laugh it off =)

    It's easy to say it from afar, but yes, I think you can get away from that AK hand. The only possible hands she could have that she would ever 3-bet preflop, and that would not be afraid of backdoor hearts, would be AK, which is a chop, or aces. Queens or any other pocket pair is out of the question for her to play that way on a three-heart paired board. I'm not sure what I would have done in the moment, especially if I was tilted, but theoretically her range is really narrow.

      Yup. Just not good enough to fold unfortunately.

      Hello fellow Vancouverite. For casino poker rooms I can only play at non-Gateway establishments because I'm banned there for now. So places I can play at are River Rock, Great Canadian Casino, and Parq.

    I totally understand getting felted with Ace King running into Aces. I don't understand your analysis though. Either you're not being 100% honest with us or not being 100% honest with Keevin. So much discussion and emphasis on your fear read of her having rockets and tanking despite knowing the table will criticize once they see your hand (good for you for taking the time you need though). But if you actually had these alarm bells so loudly, why was the option of just calling her min click bet never even mentioned or considered?
    I would have lost all in myself, for sure. No doubt. I just wonder if I'm getting a straight up analysis or revisionist history. I've only watched the first 9 minutes and hope, even against the logic of the posts' title, that you come storming back and build up a profit.

    • @KeevinPokerVlog
      @KeevinPokerVlog  Місяць тому

      I honestly try my best to verbalize all my thoughts to my viewers. As I mentioned, I didn't think she had that many chips behind, so my conclusion at that point was "if I get coolered then so be it." But yea I took some time to think about it to finally arrive there. Not sure what you're saying I'm being dishonest about. Do you mean I never thought she had aces but claiming I did. Just trying to understand what you mean.

  • @choms

    I know it's picky but can you say something else than "this hand" every time a new hand starts. Try to mix it up.

  • @mitchdarra6199
    @mitchdarra6199 Місяць тому

    Glad you lost a lot less than it was looking like you might. Not that bad a blow to the bank.
    Even in the outro, you're asking what we would've done and crediting yourself with this real bad vibe that she had aces. How do you not see calling her river rays as an option?

    • @KeevinPokerVlog
      @KeevinPokerVlog  Місяць тому

      Yes calling was an option. It was likely leading up to be all in anyways in the end so I just went with it. I wasn't able to get away. I'm not sure what you mean by me crediting myself. Anways I wasn't good enough to get away here. Coolers happen and I don't think I conveyed or at least certainly didn't mean to convey any bad vibes. She had a great hand that beat me.

    dont think u can get away with that stack depth. u wont be able to sleep at night lol plus they could be doing that with a K. plus idk if u are deeper but stacking off in that spot for that stack depth is probably positive EV in the long run

    Doing a bankroll challenge while you already have a bankroll. Idk why you kids keep lying about it but whatever keeps you at that table.. i bet you 10K you play your game by studing charts, going on line watching pros.. all i gotta say, your not playing your game

    • @KeevinPokerVlog
      @KeevinPokerVlog  Місяць тому

      Hey there. I'm not really understanding the implication. Having an existing bankroll doesn't mean you can't go on bankroll challenges. I'm genuinely confused what you're saying other "kids" and I are lying about. When you say "your not playing your game" as in these are not the regular stakes I prefer to play in, you're actually right and I never claimed otherwise (but for the sake of the bankroll challenge I'm sticking it out). In fact, viewers that have watched my channel from the beginning would know this as well. I've actually made it pretty clear in some of the bankroll challenge episodes that I did struggle with getting used to 1/3 sometimes.

      @@KeevinPokerVlog my thing is when y'all say a bankroll challenge 100- 10K you making young kids think if they got 100$ they have a chance to make it to 10K easy.

    • @KeevinPokerVlog
      @KeevinPokerVlog  Місяць тому

      I see what you mean. But I think most vloggers aren't saying or even implying it's easy. At least that's not my takeaway. Most vloggers actually imply the opposite - that it's not easy at all. That's why they are called challenges. If some videos you watch have someone telling viewers explicitly that turning $100 into $10k is easy, then yea that's definitely not realistic.
