    Keevin -Love the work, keep it up!
    Couple of thoughts....
    1. Your AKs hand early in the VLOG - I think it is a good polarizing spot. If your confident on your read, do you ever go for the big bet (i.e. Pot and larger) to rep the bluff? Similar to your thought process later when you bluff catch with A4, would your opponent thought the same?
    2. Your ban....hopefully once they change their rules they will unban you at that point. In the meantime I won't have them on my list for places to play in Vancouver....this isn't out of spite since it sounds like your overall relationship is mending with the management, but just in solidarity that they should have updated the rules sooner in understanding how poker (and rooms) popularity is returning through social media and Vloggers like you and Greg. It's good that their culture is changing and beginning to work with Greg, at least.

      1. Very good question. For me, deciding to be polarizing or not is really player dependent. I would have to recognize that the player is capable of bluff catching to make a polarizing bet for value worth it. If there isn't a lot of information, then I tend to just go with how I think players will play in general at these stakes. Similar to my thought process with A4, I didn't read the villain as capable of going for thin value (for example with a pocket pair or 5x hand), so I ended up making the call. But of course, sometimes I am surprised upon showdown. For the AK hand, you are right that is normally a good polarizing spot. If I were playing 2/5, 5/10 or bigger, it's a slam dunk big bet.
      2. It's honestly very touching to hear I'm getting that kind of support and sentiment from anyone. The last thing I'd want though is anyone to be troubled or inconvenienced for my problems. At this point, I'd still recommend the poker rooms in BC to anyone looking for a game here, because my genuine experience in all the rooms (service, games, staff, players) has always been pleasant. Hope I'll get to play with you in one of them someday =)

    Listen, I am not reading comments but, you seem like such a pleasant, good natured guy that it's hard not to want to see you victorious. I have given you a like on the couple blogs I've watched, however, I just cannot subscribe unless you 86 the TORTUROUS MUSIC!!!! My GOod Lord, Dude. It's supposed to be background enhancement but it was immediately and has been ever since, impossible not to suffer it all the way through. My gosh, I really hope you're not paying somebody for that music… It's like whoever's doing the music found a keyboard that is going through puberty enduring its voice cracking. It is owned and dedicatedly being played by my 97-year-old Chinese neighbor it is so bizarre for somebody your age and so distracting That I'm just gonna ask that you message me once the music has changed and I'll come back and start watching again and subscribe Good luck to you, my dude. If it's like your daughter or something who's playing the music, I honestly apologize. like I said, you are so nice and pleasant. It's hard not to pull for you and I certainly don't wanna hurt any feelings.. I just can't do it.

      I know my music is not for everyone. Thank you for the honest feedback. Appreciate that you have it a shot.

      @@KeevinPokerVlog Dang Keevin, I didn't realize that it is your music. I feel like a total ass now. My apologies for going on such an attack. I felt safe to exaggerate. My fault for assuming anything. In what strikes me as a bolster to my saying you just seem like such a legitimately good natured guy, you thank me for giving a try after I insult your creativity (I am currently turning out zero art and not trying to add beauty to our world not taking any risks by putting it out for consumption). I feel like a troll. I will watch 2 more vlogs and give them a like and see if I can get past the torture music.

    Cascades is a dump, the poorest casino' out of all of them. They would be fortunate if you came back with your vlog at all.

      My experience there has always been pleasant. The people (players and staff) are all nice. Yes the building is older, but the action makes up for it =)

    why did greg show his hand?

    • @KeevinPokerVlog
      @KeevinPokerVlog  6 місяців тому +1

      Sam had already committed to calling if he draws a "seven" twice, and folding otherwise. After Greg confirmed that, he showed his hand so it would be fun for everyone.
