    Have you tried Crossrope or jump roping as a workout? What are you all doing to stay active during this time? 😎

    This is a really well put together video. Thanks for the effort you put into this. Going to get mine today

      Awesome. It's been almost two full years since I got them, and I still use them several times a week. It's been the most consistent home workout for me. Plus, they are offering a lot more workouts on their app now. I'm tempted to pay the subscription fee just to access them. 😎

    Such a great video. They just arrived for me, but as a father's day present, so I must wait a few more days. Thanks for your thoughts. It's nice to know that you actually bought them, rather than saying what the company wants you to say. As always, you are the best!

      Thanks Greg! That's exciting that you're getting a set for Father's Day. You'll have to let me know how it goes. 😊

    Never heard for Crossrope. I enjoy jumping rope but haven't heard of this. I've been using Keelo. _Kinda_ like Crossfit with its approach. A warm up, a strength workout, a conditioning workout and a cool down. The nice thing about Keelo, you check which equipment is available and it'll pick the exercises for you. So, it's flexible in the regard if you travel, stay at home, go to the gym, etc. As well, typically has 1 to a few scaling options if you can't do - for example, knees to elbows, etc.

      Very cool! I'll have to check out Keelo. I love the functional fitness approach, especially if it customizes the workout to the equipment that you have. Thanks for the tip! 👍

    You nailed it 👍 expensive set but for me worth every cent. Great workout. And what you also said: it’s the fun of changing ropes and also the freestyle jump possibilities in the crossrope app. Never made workouts at home. Now I can’t stop anymore 😉

      Thanks! I appreciate the feedback. I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels this way. I've never been so excited about doing a workout, especially when it comes to cardio. 😊

      It's been almost a year since I bought them, and I'm still doing it at least 3 times a week. Definitely one of the best purchases that I made during the pandemic. 😎

    Just ordered my CrossRope. Curious what mat would be appropriate and packable for a trip? Especially a carry on suitcase?

    • @TripAstute
      @TripAstute  3 роки тому

      That's a good question. The mats are fairly bulky, so I would probably avoid carrying one when traveling and perhaps try to find soft surfaces to jump on. 👍

    Hey! Where'd you get your mat? Looks just like what I've been looking for.

      I bought my mat directly from Crossrope. However, a bunch of people in their Facebook community claim that you can get the same mat for half the cost on Amazon. This is the one that they often cite: amzn.to/2ZBmgoN

    Leave it to Ernest to post unique content as a credit card/travel youtuber instead of pushing out 20+ videos on the stimulus check.

    • @TripAstute
      @TripAstute  4 роки тому +4

      Thanks! That means a lot. I know my subscriber growth numbers are pale compared to everyone doing stimulus check videos, but I'm ok with it. I feel like it would seem a bit off-topic on this channel. Plus, my full-time job has been so hectic since the pandemic started, so I don't think I could keep up with all the stimulus updates anyway. 😄

    Is it available in India?

      I believe that Crossrope ships internationally. There are a few people from India in the Facebook Community page that are posting about it as well. 👍

    I’m a runner and it’s driving me nuts to see these people with a mask on. If you stay 15 feet apart you better be running on an open country road, otherwise you will have to schedule run times at the park. My problems come with the inconsiderate groups of people that take up the entire run/walking path and don’t move or care that other people are coming by. I guess I am doing the 15 foot thing because I have left the park for the most part and run on the streets. Jump rope is great while boxing as a boy it was a big part of the workouts.

      I agree with you! I can't stand it when people aren't considerate on the paths and trails. I remember when we first start social distancing, we past by a group of people that didn't even try to move over. We stopped and moved to the edge of the path to let them pass by, but I was shocked at how inconsiderate they were. 😟
