Appreciate the honest review. Cost, color and the set size of these ropes makes me hesitant. A lot of people swear by these ropes, yet I see a lot of excellent jump ropers using different ropes. Been using a beaded rope from Elite Jumps that I have been happy with.
You might consider Hererope, it's alot more affordable. I'm an ambassador check my page for reviews on their ropes Use this link: hererope.com/?ref=John and the code: hererope10 for a 10% discount on your new jumprope
Interesting! I agree with a lot of what you said, and this is coming from someone that has been using Crossropes since 2013. Definitely have had issues in my forearms but I definitely feel it in my upper back and shoulders as well. They have those Amp handles now that count the jumps with nearly perfect accuracy and can guide/build workouts, set benchmarks, track your jumps, and I can imagine with the direction AI is heading, they are probably the only jump rope company that is well positioned to capitalize on that since they already have tech and a huge market share. With regard to the ads contributing to too much overhead, driving the cost of the rope up: I don’t think the ads affect the price too much. Their ropes are very high quality and have been expensive since 2013 before all the ads. For sizing, I am 6’2 and use a medium with a knot in it. I just tie knots in my rope until it’s a reasonable fit. It doesn’t affect my tricks at all. Also using a rope that isn’t sized quite right can target different muscle groups so I kind of like it sometimes (this goes for any rope). Ultimately, I pay for the quality and the community since the jump rope fitness community is amazing and run by cross rope. But the app and the AMP handles are a game changer. Would love to see you review that and do some benchmarks. Also….lets race! Haha all the best.
Thank you for your experienced opinion. I think it's really awesome what they are doing with the Amp rope and the app, I love the innovations they are coming up with. Having the leader board is really cool and definitely can inspire to jump more. Thanks for the comment 🙏🫡💪‼️
I tried exactly the same rope u r holding.i totally agree. It felt wo weird using it for the first time. No idea how ppl enjoy even heavier ropes .it feels boring and dull.
The Crossrope is a top secret... jump rope. I do not do tricks, but I have fitness jumped on and off since 1984/85. I have two Life Line USA ropes, a third I gave to my daughter, she uses it still. It has to be close to 20 years old. I have a great leather rope I use, when I was in my 30s-40s and it was part of my garage boxing fitness program I did based on Peter de Pasquale's "The Boxer's Workout". I still have that, probably paid $10 for it in the early 90s. In 1984/85 I bought a 2 lbs. Heavy Rope that Kareem Abdul Jabar was the spokesperson for. I still have that. That is for 50 skip sprints. You might have forgotten your shoulders, but the Heavy Rope reminds you they are there. I do not think you can find them anymore. I could not, in good conscience, suggest to anyone they buy a Crossrope. I paid $120 for my set. It is a very expensive... jump rope. Just buy a good jump rope. More expensive does not mean more better.
More expensive means more better in jump ropes, actually. The fastest jump rope on the market is the most expensive one. The only handles that come with a lifetime warranty is also the #2 most expensive jump rope brand. The cheaper jump ropes could be better for XYZ and the expensive ones for XYZ, but the quality will always be better when you pay more, in jump ropes. That doesn't mean a $10 one isn't as good as many $30 ones either. It's not black and white
I wouldn’t do tricks with this one. Its a very good rope to start out jumprope. I learned to jumprope using crossrope but then I graduated to other kinds for tricks
If I were to buy a Money Rope performance, with shipping and tax, it would be apr. the same price. Now I do have “moneyrope-clones” - though bought for less than 1/5 of the price. I find that the CrossRope does provide quite a bit more value.
Hey Bro. Thanks for the info, greatly appreciate it. I'm with you, why would you want to pay so much for a jump rope? As long as you're getting a great workout and getting your cardio in, that's all that matters. Thanks appreciate man for the explanation. 💯💯💯❤❤❤🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿
That's all that matters, to you. For other people, who you know, can care about stuff you don't, it might be worth it. Aesthetics, quality, lifetime warranty on handles, different swappable cables for different purposes of training, some come with better spins, some come with nice carrying cases, some come with more durable cables and handles.

All good and valid, Crossrope is my favourite rope and yes, more expensive than others but so far the best I've found.

Money rope is on Amazon too now if you have a membership (free shipping)
Some valid points, but can you please glue the camera person down? They're making me all dizzy!
🤣🤣🤣
No way ! 😂
