"I don't drink" *pops a Vicodin* Edit: omg everyone thinks that I meant it comparatively.. i'm not an idiot I know he takes his pills not to get high but to function properly... i liked that moment that's all lol
Still sober enough to realise there was something wrong with the kid. Tolerance is a thing. You might take two and be out for a day, he takes two and is pain free for ten minutes. Addiction happens because of tolerance.
One day my younger brother(13) came from school and was feeling sick, everyone thought it was mild fever and gave him some meds, a day passed it got worse, I took him to hospital where doctor thought it was malaria and gave him syrup that was meant for adults, after just one dose he got even worse his urine was red, he couldn't eat and even drink he threw immediately, the day after I carried him to hospital(he couldn't walk now) doctor immediately ordered test and said he has hepatitis, test confirmed it and she said he is just a kid it will get better after this meds soon, a day passed by and now he has visible jaundice, people would turn their eyes after looking at him, I took him to a better a hospital out of city, where they diagnosed him he had 104 fever and 450 glucose conc. (sugar level) they started treatment, just like this video they started ordering tests, they didn't know what was wrong with him, after one night they said he needs liver transplant or its over within a day, we couldn't afford transplant got him back home started treatment with some local physician with herbs and stuff, its was bad at first but he survived and after a week he got visibly better it took him 2 months to recover, all this time I had to stay by his side I would carry him to pee and would wash him, he went to school yesterday, this video brought so many memories back. Hope no one has to go through this ever.
I have had glasses for myopia and astigmatism since I was 8 years old. I have a Bachelor of Science degree and had to use microscopes frequently. I always used my glasses when using the microscopes.
I just noticed that House wrote Esther on the board even though the patient's name was Ester proving yet again he really doesn't care about his patients.
No matter how many times i see this show or even clips from the channel im always clicking to watch them
9:28 I felt the same way house did...he finally found the culprit and began the treatment.
That's what success feels like. .
Yeah but I always like the aftermath part of the show. Bummer it just went on to to the next. His gloating and parental relief are good.
House having her file where he can always review it and immediately recognizing the symptoms really says how haunted he is by Esther

I think that was 2 vicodin, actually.

@@Legendofthemallyea he had only one bottle that day so pain is at 7 out of 10.
House sober
A true pain *patient* in *palliative care*. Not taking it for the high but the *relief* of intractable pain.
This is of my favorite episodes of House. I hope this channel never dies.
The idiot that hears a kid has blood in stool and says "what? he's got a tummy ache!"...Seriously? You hear a doctor say that - RUN.
Been watching House since 2006 LOL... can't stop revisiting it again and again
Love from Sri Lanka!!
Sri Lankan here as well 😅
This and Lines in The Sand are my favorite episodes, the way house interact and show his care for the kids hits different
jeez that second patient could not catch a break
Enjoying the longer videos.
Addiction is a mental illness.
I'm addicted to Dr House
Hopefully this Dr has a cure....
Have you tried Mouse Bites drug ?

Saw full House md through these videos lol
Oh trust me you haven't!!!
I've watched the complete series 5 times and still can't get enough of it😅
12:13 unconsciously...
In real life, Chase would have been culled much earlier on. Medical schools would have seen his arrogance as malpractice waiting to happen.
Pretty much every episode house is right but no one ever believes him
Exactly. Which makes all the others stupid.
South Africa in the House
??? Using reading glasses while using a microscope…. Is that normal .. ? Just seems odd !

Maybe it was misspelled and House wrote it right?😮
