Hi Jared. I recently moved to the Tampa, FL area. Originally from Rhode Island. We are in zone 9b. I have 6 varietals of dwarf bananas, carambola and other subtropical fruits. I do like the growing season down here. All is done in very large containers on my west facing balcony. It's a mix of sun and shade with the evergrowing banana plant leaves blocking out much of the sun and heat. I wanted to know your thoughts on growing shade grown tobacco to try my hand at rolling a few cigars in a container. Can you recommend any place to purchase seeds and recommend a good variety? I think tobacco might grow well amongst my bananas. Everything I grow is organic with mulch, soil, composted manure and I chop and drop. Bananas are food and water pigs. I don't know much about the tobacco plant though. Thanks.
Lovely explanation. Subscribed!

Should I grow tobacco that I intend to smoke itself not as a wrapper in the shade or in the sun?
Thanks
Thanks for watching.
