When using the clear stamps on the acrylic block, it is helpful to use a foam sheet under the paper to get a complete stamp. Also using a braver, rolling pin or chalkboard eraser to get 🎉even pressure all over the block helps. I love your napkin paper.💜🐞

As I was using my water colors I would make a separate sheet of small marks, dots dashes, swirls etc. Using all the different colors. When I'd filled up the page I used my label stamps to make labels. They are my very favorites,so colorful and no 2 are alike.

Lots of gorgeous labels created! Using the napkin covered music sheets was a great idea. I agree, I think it would stamp better if you used glue stick for the napkins. It would be interesting to compare the results of the mod podge verses the glue stick to see the end results - better or just different?

Gayle, I love this idea. Am off to try using my napkin stash. I think you might have better success if you try using Stayzon ink when stamping over mod podge or collage medium. The versafine is great to give a clear stamped image on paper. Just a thought. Thank you for providing us with a dose of daily inspiration.

Good morning Gayle and my crafty friends! Oh my goodness, watched the video when I couldn’t fall asleep in the wee hours but forgot to post a hello! Mostly because I was worried I wasn’t going to get my old bones up in the morning to go run a very important errand for my son. Errands all completed and time to share my thoughts. Love love love this concept and the final outcome. They are such a fun surprise to see them transform. Hopefully I understood correctly that the base was a sheet of music with napkin put over?? Cause I’d love to make some! The vellum was gorgeous also. I am exhausted between the major overhaul of my craftroom and some sleepless nights, phew I’m tired! Hope each and everyone of you are doing well, crafting your little hearts out and enjoying life! Blessings and hugs. P.S. bet you all wish I posted shorter comments, huh? These are so pretty! Great idea! It looks like you are stamping on a fold up table. You can see the table giving when you push on the stamp. Found out the folding tables are not good for stamping. You need a more solid table that won’t give when you push. But great idea! Definitely going to doing it myself.
Absolutely right. 👍. But I have what I have in my craft room, a folding table, so I make do. 🤷🏻♀️❤

Love your labels you should make a digital out of them.
You also might try a pad soft"ish" maybe a mouse pad. Or a magazine, to give those clear stamps a little cushion underneath. You might be surprised! You are awesome! (I also a victim of Parkinson's.) For 11 years now. Thanks for all you do!!😊

Hello Gayle from Australia, I enjoyed this video so much as I do all you videos.I found you thanks to Ceri the Crafter.Could you please explain your original paper you used today for the stamping.Was it original music paper then collaged with a whole knapkin.I think you said you used modge podge but could I just glue the knapkin to tea dyed paper and stamp it with music notes and the Collage knapkins on top?So sorry this is so long.thank you .Hope
Hi Hope! I’m so glad you are here. Yes, music paper with the decorative layer of a napkin decoupaged on. As I said in the video, I would use glue stick rather than the mod Podge if I did this again. Hope that helps! ❤

Oh these labels came out so pretty!!! I love doing labels too and like you said when you actually cut them out then they show their true personality. I don’t care for difficult detailed fussy cutting but fussy cutting labels I can do for hours and hours and I have the boxes to prove it…😂. Thanks for a fun as well as relaxing video. I’ll admit I do listen to your videos sometimes when drifting off to sleep but then of course I rewatch it while I’m crafting and I can really enjoy the crafting part too.
