We need to get some people who are prepared to complain about us being glued to the yank foreign war policy, we have to get our sovereignty back before the yanks start war with China. we will be a second Ukraine and the yanks will do nothing to help, but to sell us weapons for a inflated price. If we could get enough people to Email the PM and complain, it would be inexpensive to worry him and perhaps think about his own country for a change. All we need is the people.

I read some time back that Australia was going to be torn apart, now I understand why. We are not Ukraine, though it doesn't matter because even though USA corporations own most of our resources, they don't at this stage own the country, working on it but not yet. We do need an independent foreign policy, a few weeks ago commentators such as S Ritter were loud with their warnings, now they seem to have accepted nuclear war which will be total destruction. The USA, EU and UK have been flooded with asylum seekers who believe they're entitled, when privileges cease and there's no food no housing no medical care no infrastructure no law any survivors may be glad to eat bugs or anything else they can forage. This talk of nuclear war is real, it's close and no-one's listening no-one cares. AND it is deliberate.

The RBA messing about with interest rates doesn’t help the people of Australia.
The lie is that interest rates are the only way to address inflation. While super low rates of 0.1% were unsustainable, they could have raised them very gradually to more normal levels so as not to crush households, while investing in other ways to get supply chain prices down.

When our politicians chose to privatize everything they could sell, and opened up our economy to the global market, the result is the expectation we surrender our sovereignty to our corporate occupiers. Corporate professional political lobbyists have their own key cards to enter Parliament House in Canberra, the Australian people are refused access to our lawn on the roof of Parliament House that was designed for public use. I believe the roof lawn is meant as a reminder of humility by placing our politicians under the foot of the Australian people, in other words, the Australian people are the boss, not politicians. When corporations control government policy direction they set culture, they impose their corporate dogma. I suggest that we now have neoliberalism being taught in tertiary education because of their surrender of freedom of speech, which is crucial for 'critical thinking'.

I did not know that lobbyists had their own keycards to Parliament House. That is so wrong. And I agree about the idea of the roof lawn being deliberate so the people could walk/sit over the heads of the politicians to remind them of who they answered to.
@@bunyip5841 I don't know for a fact, but I have seen it reported in indepenent media, that there are over 2000 lobbyist keycards just for Canberra alone. Australians don't understand the extent that our politics is captured by foreign control corporations. There are times when I consider our government a traitor, especially when it comes to AUKUS.

Did anyone see the B2 Northrop stealth bomber fly over tamborine area recently, scary when you actually see one.
It's the late at night low flight noisey slow ones heading across from the coast back to Amberley in the west of Brisbane that make me uncomfortable. Certainly not passenger planes.

Hey Robbie... One thing you should have bought up when you were discussing nuclear armed American "airplanes" being stationed at Amberley in Brisbane and Darwin are the nuclear armed American subs that are serviced at Garden Island in WA.
As you say these US military assets armed with nuclear weapons are only allowed into Australia because the Americans neither confirm or deny nuclear weapons are on board. Of course this workaround isn't in the spirit of the treaty we have with our pacific neighbours or in their best interest and neither is it in our best interest to be stabing our neighbours in the back to satisfy these neoconservative/neoliberal nitwits in Washington.

Everything that goes through parlament is done 5 years before they plan to use it. A few years ago they pushed through a law that gave indemnity to foreign troops operating in Australian territory. This was tied to fire fighting and other ridiculous excuses. But we always knew it was about foreign troops on Australian soil committing crimes against Australians. Under interoperability, US troops could take military action against the Australian public, when our own troops would refuse. Worth consideration. The US always conducts war in the nations of other. Rod Cullerton is winning with Constitutional law in the courts to fight back against the corrupt world government, Central banks. But either way, join a party, help out and make your voice count, Writing to Politicians operating outside the lawful jurisdiction of the Australian constitution does nothing. @@mattfinch8024 No, I am 81 and have been in parties for fifty years and none of it worked. Most of that time, there was no internet, we have to use the internet now. If you join one of the main parties, they will not deviate from the status quo, the small parties have no power. We have to send messages to the top, they scare easily, if we could bombard them with negative emails, it will scare them, but it has to come from a lot of people. I have spent thousands of dollars over the years, on parties, with no results. The citizens party is good but it does not hold one seat in parliament. I am prepared to send one email a day, but it will not work if they think it is one person. We need to find time to do this. The yanks have us lined up to fight China and our gutless politicians, always obey the yanks.
I think you will find that a Post Master has the same powers as a Govener General under Commonwealth law.??. Maybe something too look into.

lets legislate politicians cannot advise or become corporate agents, lobbyists, CEOs, assistants, board members, and or interfere with or partake in drafting or any form of legislation after leaving public service/ office for at least 10years. Alternatively a mandatory decoration they are required to sign off on, a similar agreement above - before being excepted in any form of political office, representative, MP, Senator .
Interesting how many retired politicians end up as Vice-Chancellors earning over $1million a year. Jobs for the boys and girls; they do nothing and get paid.
