  • Classical Pianist Opeth Godhead's Lament Reaction
Today I will be reacting to Opeth Godhead's Lament. I know many of you love Opeth and some of you have recommended Opeth Godhead's Lament from Still life album and react to it. Opeth the Moor piano parts is not part of this track. Also, Opeth Godhead's Lament acoustic parts give a nice feeling every minute, leaving you wanting more. You can also hear and enjoy a lot of Opeth Godhead's Lament acoustic instrumental parts.
Opeth Godhead's Lament can be found online or on youtube if you want to read while you listen to the track. Also, this is not an Opeth Godhead's Lament live concert, only a recorded mastered track. Enjoy For Godhead's Lament Opeth Reaction!

Like many others of theirs, this song comes in hard, then goes into a barrage of melodic transitions and incredible riffing all the way out. It's one of their greatest songs IMO. Encapsulates everything that Opeth is about in one package🤘❤🖤

This band couldn’t miss from My Arms Your Hearse to Ghost Reveries. Every one of those albums has at least one masterpiece on it and usually several.
This song and album are particularly underrated and the remaster is basically a perfect version.

Always a battle between Still Life and Watershed which one I love most. Keep 'em coming👍

I always thought of The Moor as the stem and Godhead's Lament as the branches growing off of the stem.. dunno why but that's my own crazy analogy for this.. in any case if you're not blown away, Benighted (the next song) will vibrate every blood vessel in your body.

Orchid is their first album. You can hear how it all started, but it's my least favorite. If you want to hear everything in chronological order, listen to orchid. Otherwise, ghost reveries would be a good idea since you've already heard two songs from the album. My personal suggestion would be "In Cauda Venenum" 🤯 . This is latest masterpiece from 2019.

Agree. Blackwater Park, Ghost Reveries, Watershed - doesn't really matter where you start off, if you're not doing it cronologically to see their development in different directions. And "In Cauda Venenum" is a masterpiece, one of their most underated albums (and newest). But according to Mikael Åkerfeldt the Swedish version is the better one - the english version is just trying to replicate the first version.

Why Orchid is not a your favorite?

Orchid started my love of Opeth way back when, Forest of October specifically. Considering they were so young when they wrote it, I think it's pretty amazing. 🖤
I am a fan of heavier music though. Their first 5 albums are my personal favourite.
      Cheers!

    🔥🔥❤Opeth❤🔥🔥
I know I'm sounding like a broken record, but the Watershed album is my wish for the next reaction if you're gonna do Orchid after this one.
    Again... love your reactions!

Dreamland is great. If only I could remember them as vividly as I used to.
I'll see you at the new one. I'm not very hopeful though that he'll do more.

If you know you want to listen to all the albums, sure, you might start with Orchid as it's their debut album. Otherwise I'd recommend "the biggest" albums: Blackwater Park and Ghost Reveries. Or you might also want to check out different side of Opeth ie: Pale Communion or In Cauda Venenum. Cheers.
