most underrated Opeth song
Agreep
When they played this song in 2016 I was floored. Fan service was made.
Lost song on that album. I highly recommend the Still Life album, and if you are really adventurous My Arms Your Hearse. You'll find the same interesting progression and rhythm variation.
Thank you, a couple of people have recommended that same album
@@PJAlphaMusic Still Life has many good tracks. If you're into short and mellow songs, Benighted is a good acoustic one, but otherwise for a mix it's The Moor, Moonlapse Vertigo, or Face of Melinda.
The album still life has to be next. Musically its quite interesting.
That’s another Opeth’s Album?
Yep its Opeth's 4th studio album and also a concept album.
I miss the days where I had just discovered opeth and soon after their discography. My favorite band for sure. But the feeling of the early days is a dragon I can’t catch!
My wish for the next album is Watershed the (Special Edition version.. it has bonus tracks) or Still Life.
Both have that great progressive sound, melodic, with clean and growl vocals.
Watershed is amazing and it's a key album in their move towards strictly non-metal. It has a lot more 70s style progressive elements than the previous albums. Especially in the extensive use of keyboards for the first time as an equal instrument as opposed to a supporting instrument. Yet it's still SO heavy. Heir Apparent
You were right!

❤ Ha, I think we're all right about all of them. 😁
I do love this album, but I can't deny... I'm so anxious for the Watershed album. 🤗
Opeth. That is all I have to say.

🤘🙂🤘
💥🔥🤘
Yes!
I would say first off: Blackwater Park. Then Watershed. Or Still Life.....But Deliverance was meant to be released as a dubbel-disc together with Damnation. It was released as that with a remix called Deliverance and Damnation in 2015. So from that perspective you should go Damnation xD
There are so many lol!
Answer to the first part of the vid -- For a whole live concert my favorite is "The Roundhouse Tapes" but I think you could just as well react to individual live songs.
Got it!
I think you should make a habit of reading the lyrics once over at least. Especially with this song there is quite a match with lyrics and music. The song is about a very eager demon/satan convincing our guy to give in and relent his soul to satan. It's beautifully done. "RISE TO SUBMISSION" could be the best line ever :) The clean vocal part is key to the demise of our guy: "Outside in the park the days move along but nothing ever changes". Fuck I love this band!
Live from this album? My fav is Master's Apprentices and there's only one DVD recording of that one anyway from the Shepherd's Bush Empire.
We will!
The lotus eater, live at red rocks.
Whoah, do you have a link?
@@PJAlphaMusic ,it is on the garden of titans dvd.
