This was satisfying to watch. A handy hint for next time you use the tractor to pull the stump up is engage the diff lock. I noticed only one rear wheel spinning in the footage and instantly thought "lock the diff"
More importantly you are far better off pulling from the front of the tractor. I have been unfortunate enough to go to an incident where a gent was doing exactly the same as you pulling out a root and the wheels on the tractor did not slip, the tractor simply flipped backwards with the torque that the tractor generated and this killed the driver. I know that your tractor has Roll Over Protection, but please don't rely on this.
@@sauldransfield5327 yes youre correct in saying its far safer to pull from the front. Having the counter weight on the rear would massively reduce the possibility of the tractor flipping over on itself
In next weeks video: "My mates at Hutcheon & Pearce have very kindly donated me a crane to pull out the rest of my stumps. I have also accidentally built a second dam too!"
Gee I would of loved to meet you Ben & have a yarn at Macarthur machinery at camden yesterday I'm only down the Rd too, wish I knew you'd be there 😥 maybe one day 🙂
THis is why we used to have sooooooo much fun blowing up tree stumps 😂😂😂😂😂😂 a tad north west of Cobar...so probably not as frowned up there as opposed to where you are....but was sooooooo much fun ☺☺☺☺ That my good man was one helluva stump n root system 😳😳😳😳
Yo mate what up welcome to another lawn tip vid.. where ben bites off more then he can chew😂 at least you got there in the end bro big ups for been determined
Have a chat to PCT AG about using there EM rig on their gator to pinpoint the leak in the dam. They run around the dam and detect the soil density down to 300mm and detect voids. They can also do a soil map of the golf course paddock too.
“I definitely think that tree contributed to that dam leaking”, “Good thing it’s dug out gonna reshape the dam” Mate your trying to justify the last week of your life digging out the stump 😂. I know what that feels like I had a week of afternoons trying to dig out a palm tree stump til I paid for it to get ground. Great content though!
When i saw the size of that hole the first thing i thought was engulfment. We need permits to dig that big at work, has to be benched at 1.5m with ramps. be careful bro.
@@kulaak-krii nothing about nanny state. It is about not getting killed because your experience level is low so you don't know the hazards. they don't make these rules up out of nowhere, they come about because people have died.

That's huuuuge. Well done, man.
Really impressed that you finished that and got the stump out it was very satisfying that you kept going
First bunker complete, well done!
Such a satisfying video. I wouldn’t have taken it well had you stopped there 😂
Part of the reason I didn’t give up 😂

Good eye!! I did forget to put the diff lock on.

That dam tree was causing the dam leak now you need to fill the dam hole with the remaining dam soil. Time for some damn lunch! Great dam work!
Dam bro 😂
Yo mate, what up. Thanks for the lawn Tip vid
That's one big stump!!! Nice work!

Will do another event in future for sure mate!!
You should use that stump as a feature on the golf course! Maybe a chair 🪑
Glad to see my tip of reversing the bucket on the excavator helped you out!
Great tip mate!!
Well done, massive job!
The lunch box was bens favourite part let’s be real 😂, zinger box better tho?
That is a huge stump to remove with machinery that size. Well done

That would have been fun for sure 😂
It would have been very satisfying when that monster of a stump finally came out! Good job, great vid!
Hard work, good work.😁

Has to look worse before it looks better, right? I'm always impressed at how far you will go to make sure the job is done properly, keep it up mate.

Must have been a decent tree in it's glory days
I reckon it was pretty decent for sure
@@LawnTips I'm a stump grinder. That stump is what I call an elephant.

Can’t control himself 😂
That bloke is my shadow
Yo mate. Friday night with a beer. Bonus.
And here I am thinking my 2 year old is good at making a mess. Good effort though, what a mission
What a mess lol 😂
This job almost STUMPED you 😂
pretty basic but its amazing how far we have came that this is almost a one man job
Definitely roll that stump into the dam as a feature...give old Daffy duck somewhere to chill out 👍
use the stump as a feature on the course!
Pulling more roots than Don Burke!
Getting into a hole like that without shoring 😬
It’s a great watch mate but you like to make life hard for yourself by taking it out instead of a grind !! :)
My misses asked me why I was giving the tv a round of applause 😂
😂 love it
Should team up with Waterscape Australia and build a pond instead of damn.. perfect for Wildlife and will make you par 3 so pretty
AWWWWWW YEASSS WOOOO xD hahahah ah yeah ah yeah ah yeah yea yea yea :D love the celebration song hahah great work!
Couldn’t control my emotions 😂
hugeeee!
Do you have an explosives licence?
Mate I’d be draining that dam & looking at the dam wall. Just to be 100%. It’ll be full again by Christmas anyway
You need to keep that stump for a piece of sculpture for the par 3
That bad boy will be burned. Don’t want to see it again 😂
@@LawnTips what a shame.....it would make your par 3 famous...upside down and washed with a water blaster, will show a really beautiful piece of wood
He needs the vengeance haha
@@LawnTips Yeah agree. Nuke it from orbit.
So, bunker is dug then.
Smart man

“10 minute job” he reckons? 🤔
