Peace, in peace. Always live in peace We live in peace, in peace Always, always I'm trying and I see a form of love Even though I fight it, I can't hide With all the feelings in my head And all the times that I have tried Will anybody give me what I need? Put all my faith in God above This time I'm falling just for you I guess I'm hungry for that love I want you. I need you And all the things you're asking for "I'll try," she goes Up and down like every man around I'm only preaching what you knew The awful feeling when you lie It takes the joy out of my soul And puts the hate back in my eye Will anybody give me what I want? Put all my faith in God up high This time I'm working just for love It's the only [weeping] that I'll try

@@diskonnektion5496 yeah, but it was very much NOT commercial. Even Blue Monday, in a way, still wasn't commercial. By the time we get to Low Life though, they 'went glossy'. Revenge music was more entertaining than Electronic singles. I saw them play at the Heaton park, Manchester 91' Revenge and The Durutti column were simply the best.
Peter talks of Peace and God, so this is hidden - Peter has played with the Stones, et al. whom have requested his supranatural skills on the base, if i had to make a band, dead or alive, excuse the pun, neil (peart) on the drums and Peter on the bass, no one ever like him, watch him on perfect kiss it's ffff amazeballs!!! 1983? when they were still factory records b4 qwest whaaat? i'd have trent on keyboards and oger on for spooky back vocal and cowrite it with Al!
the video is bad, the verses arent too great, but the mantra/chorus "peace, peace, will all will/alway live in peace" is nice. New Order sounded like shit during this era and to be frank, all of barneys solo work/electronic sounds like complete shit-tier garbage pop. New Order was really only good from like 81-86. The rest is commercialized BS
@@oostenmusic I certainly agree with that assessment. New Order was huge when I was in high school during the late '80s. I certainly was a big follower of theirs, and also even bought the Electronic albums on cassette, but I really truly related more to Joy Division, even more so during my Junior College and Uni ER in the early to mid-90s, along with Revenge and The Other Two and You. I do a lot more cringing when I go back and listen to Barney these days, which I rarely ever did when I was younger.
nope. still not into it. Still sounds like a bunch of song intros strung together rather than an actual song. Lyrics come in and it's like the song started over again. Nope.
It's time for New Order to reunite, play The Other Two's material, along with Monaco, Electronic, and Joy Division.
what about revenge?
Everything
This tune has got such great production! Awesome sounds, chords and overall vibe. It takes me back nicely to 1990
OmG have been looking for this for years !!! love all things new, order joy division etc ... so fracking HAPPY!
My favorite Revenga song....... greetings of Perú...

Damn 90s good old days
Quality stuff from PH, still sounding fresh.

Its of its era...like it thou
The singer sounds a bit like like a mix of Bernard and early 90's Lloyd Cole.
R.I.P. Ian
Can you imagine Ian in this video singing the song?
@@diskonnektion5496 I'd like to think he'd have left rather than make dance-rock but we'll never know

I just want to know who the dark haired model is. She’s credited on the album cover as Revenge Girl Joanne. I bought that album just for the cover.
I remember buying Revenge T- shirt from Factory records.
It was so SEXY👻

evolutionary digression Lord yes hope he is in peace at last poor brilliant man
Where the hell is it on Spotify?!
Response to Bernard and Electronic.
fookin Wild Thing
I have the cassette single!!!
Sweet Jesus... tell me where I can own this.. price is not an option
The women or the music?
Amazing track !!! Thanks !!!
Oh Hooky you are so cool in your Harley ?........🤔😶
It appears to be a sports bike, prob a British triumph
Looks like Hooky was going through an early mid life crisis here.
Any chance of a melody Hooky?
This is completely a valid comment 🤣
Yeah I'm like 3/4 of the way thru waiting for a Melody
If the beat is driving, really driving a melody is an afterthought....

Pub version of New Order 🍻
From 2:15 on it sounds JUST like New Order, just need a better singer, and better lyrics. Wing-ding?
It's good In a corny type of way. Can you imagine Bernard or Ian doing this?

Hooky trying to be Michael Hutchence here
Michael Hutchence was God-like. No one could be like him. Let him rest in peace.

@@douglashall2030 Don't be so harsh on yourself.
This sounds like post Technique New Order if New Order didnt sound like shit during that era and beyond
Technique is a masterpiece in pop/rock/synth music
They were great in the Republic Era.
One of the most disappointing records I ever bought !
I like Revenge more than New Order. There, I said it.
