My opinion is that these great looking and very comfortable shoes has a nasty problem. I ordered these shoes for my 16 year old son and received them on 15th March 2024. It's LESS THAN TWO MONTHS old and both inner soles have massive holes right though to the hard under layer in both shoes under the ankle and the ball of the feet. The outsides hardly have a scuff mark, the soles are not worn and rightly so - they have only been worn since mid March. I wrote to Osaka SA and sent photographs and I felt they shrugged me off by basically saying we're not following the correct cleaning and drying protocol (which I fail to find anywhere on their website or on the packaging of the shoes - did I miss it?). The agent followed up by saying he's never seen holes like that in Osaka hockey shoes and that the holes are probably caused by my son's feet moving inside the shoes, implying we bought the shoes too big. In the mean time I've bought three different types of inner soles to try and cover the holes because it keeps disintegrating - tiny bits of black foam can be shaken from the shoes. To say I'm disappointed and angry is an understatement. In Afrikaans we have a saying that can be roughly translated as 'cheap shopping is expensive shopping'....in this case an expensive buy (that I wrongly assumed would be a quality buy) is turning out to be an expensive mistake.
