Thank You So Much Crystal ❤️🕊❤️ These are about When each row starts❤️😍❤️ I hope this helps someone ❤️🕊❤️ Row 3=16:15 Row 4= 24:40 Row 5=32:15 Row6=37:40
Oh it's also really great the way you pull stitches open and really show where the next stitch goes, and really clear on where to skip!! That's so helpful!
My grandma taught me to crochet on that stitch. I was 9. Can you believe she was willing to teach me that complicated of a stitch. The thing is I am left handed and I learned right handed. I bet is nice and warm. I love the colors.
Wow, this is a beautiful pocket shawl pattern, and the first I’ve actually wanted to make! 😍Thanks for demonstrating how you do the color control, too. 😁
Ok I am going to have to wait and buy my yarn so I can make this one. I love it so much. I'm about 200yrs off from the yarn I have. I will wait because this is my favorite and I have looked at a lot. It's so worth it.
Lol are you kidding me? I just received a pattern for this stitch in the mail from a pattern from 1966-1970. (Yes old school pattern I needed a video to understand!) I am planning an adult size baby blanket! Thank you Crystal for the clarity!
Crystal for a lady who can't read a pattern, you are absolutely amazing 🤩 I have this pattern and Can read patterns and row 4 always sent me into brain lock. Bless you , bless you, bless you ! Vickie G
What a beautiful Stich.. at first I thought it was going to be difficult.. but went along with you and came out beautiful...gourgeus.. Hermoso .. thanks so much muchas gracias
Hi Crystal, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I just love you for spending so much time to help me. You are fantastic! What a special lady to have gone through almost 2,000 videos to find this shawl, I know this should be perfect for what I think my 12 year old grand daughter will love. My daughter tells me I'm putting too much thought into this but this little one has so many issues this just needs to be special and she will know Grandma tried her best to make it perfectly her special style. Although I've never tried to do what I think I'm going to try you've given me the courage to try. Hopefully it will work to try to make an opening at midway through the middle part to make a place she can put her head through and yet I can finish the last half without interupting the pattern. So it will possible work as a poncho and I can put a neck line or if I get enough courage maybe try to put a hood on it? I bought Roving Ice Cream yarn in strawberry to make this before I found this stitch and this stuff is very soft and fuzzy fluffy, not something I would want to frog. I'm going to see if I can order another color to work with this. It's too bad Mandela doesn't have a ball of just pinks but they haven't thought about that yet. I like to use color control too with this type of yarn because I love working with this yarn. Too bad she doesn't want blues or mint greens I just got several balls of the newest colors Mandela had out a couple of months ago. Now to find the right yarn. Thank you so much Pam aka Grandma
Your explanation and demonstration made this pattern so easy. I have tried this stitch from the written pattern multiple times without success. Thank you so much.
OMG I absolutely love the pockets and the colors and the trim at the bottom it's just so amazing I'm going to have to knit me something similar LOL I'm so inspired
Hi Crystal. Love this stitch. Added to my "to make list". Have so many of your beautiful projects that I want to make. I admire your talent. Thank you so much.
I was really over the pocket shawl trend especially since I was not falling in love with any of the designs. That is until now!!! Simply beautiful! Lovely stitches and colors. Thanks Crystal.
I'm was a teen during the 70s so of course I like long fringe. I think this is real pretty and I really like the stich pattern. Thanks for the tutorial.

Crystal--just wanted to let you know that I enjoyed this stitch so much, I not only made a pocket shawl, but an afghan, a scarf AND an ear warmer using it! Such a fast and easy stitch and made up quickly! With a little imagination, I bet I could come up with many other projects as well! THANK YOU for a great tutorial on the harlequin stitch--I now have 2 Christmas presents ready to go!

Ditto! Like I love the concept but I know I’ll never wear it. I’m a farm wife/mommy, I am a bit rough on things. BUT Crystal’s tutorial and information that goes with it is perfect. Her harlequin stitch is so much nicer than others I’ve seen
Wow you whipped that up in no time at all . I really like how you are teaching and Explaining about the actual way to use the yarn and why . Also letting us know the actual amounts needed for the best result is very accommodating thank you . I wanted to remind you that tomorrow is National Adoption day ! Just in case you were planning a new addition to your family . 🤓🌻
This stitch is pretty. I'm going to make a blanket out of it. Thanks Crystal!
Love how you deconstruct the cake. It also does the hard work of combining colors for you. Leaving out the guess work.
Yes! Don’t have to decide on a 5 color combo. Long strip cakes are great for color combos & color work.
Prettiest Pocket Shawl of all i've seen yet!
