The distinct sound of the R24 was the guttural lower pitch vibration in there. Probably the most lairy and intimidating sounding car from the 1996-2014 era, scary just to watch... Meanwhile The F2004 had awesome quickfire upshift sounds as it revved frantically, and the BAR006 had the upshift punch
@@MarkSC192 I actually think he is overrated, acts disgracefully a lot of the time and that Kimi at his peak was a better driver than Alonso. I know deep in your heart you agree paesano.
@@ciaronsmith4995 Yes, yes. You don't have to remind us every time. PS: I don't necessarily agree with that, even though I'm a big fan of Kimi's as well. And, by the way, have a laugh every now and then, huh brit? ;)
@@ciaronsmith4995 Europe is the temple of motorsport, I agree. Such a great deal of marvelous tracks. But there so many across the world that I reckon would be amazing to have in F1, e.g. Laguna Seca, Kyalami or Phillip Island
Tecnicamente no era el mejor en esa temporada,el mejor era el F2004 de Schumacher con la velocidad punta mas alta hasta que llego el Mp4/20 aunque la velocidad maxima fue de 374km/h con el F2000
I know it's not the same thing, but when i'm driving in simulators I find I'm faster when the car is slightly balanced towards understeer just a tad because that way I can be more agressive in the way I throw the car around the corner and use the accelerator on exit to balance it with power oversteer. The same principle aplies to this.
One of the most amazing sounds in history
2005's Renault sound was even better
Watching Scott Mansell’s channel and video on Nando’s steering technique you truly do understand and see how aggressively alonso is pushing his car
1:13 that feeling at go karts when you get used to slide the front wheels every corner🤣🤣🤣
0:30 dat save
Classic Alonso style rotation 👌
the grip is INSANE
Still wasn't the fastest car on the grid but i love it.
Absolutely fantastic! I really miss the 3.0 litre V10 18000 rpm engines in formula1!
This is a symptom of happiness

Damn I miss those sounds 😿
I might thought that the stig driving this was Micheal Schumacher
You can tell by the way they hold the wheel which driver is in the clip.

@@MarkSC192 I would prefer if F1 was just British and Italian tracks. Frankly. Not a fan of these other circuits. Never have been. Spa is ok too.

I like that slight deep sound during acceleration. Just sexy

Holy understeer Batman! But Fernando really made it work over that year and the next 2.
tommythetreat000 Trulli hugely out performed Alonso up to France. But after the fallout Alonso came on strong.

Just came here to watch a real F1 car after the boring 1000th race in China today..
damn!
los cambios de marcha y todo son más normales que hoy en día
Fernando si hubieras nacido en la época de senna prost seria otro del montón con todos mis respetos al maravilloso pros t xd
Ta bonito esse carro hein!
Does this benetton have only 6 gears? Other teams have 7..
Yep, the R25 (2005 car) was the last car in F1 to have six gears.
checo guevara Benneton? Seriously?
Well Renault was Bennetton before this...
Geometry Dash Restriction You're right, as you said "before"
Ilike Alonso's rapidly falling driving this time
Este coche no tiene pu ta pero va como un valls de Mozart Rubéns
la f1 debería aprender de moto gp
Gotta say I don't really like the sound of this car. It sure sounds angry and menacing, but other v10s sounded better, specially in 2004
sounds great but terrible ubdersteer:)
wyskun it's actually the way Renault set up their cars back then, to suit the driving style of their drivers.
