Nice video, good review. I have the Orange Micro Crush and i bought today the Marshall MS-2 Classic and i plan on buying other micro/mini amps as well, as long they're properly priced.
Good sound is not the main selling point of these micro amps. It's portability, cuteness, collection, and that they can be bought as a gift to any guitarist.
In a nutshell, micro amps are travel amps, not practice amps. 15W amps are practice amps, which technically you sit in front of them and play, but most importantly, they are twin-channel and have a 3-band EQ. 10W amps usually are single-channel and have only 2-band EQ, and from 20W onwards they start adding features, which takes it closer to a "proper" amp, but raises the price as well. In my opinion, 15W is the perfect wattage for a beginner, as long as that amp has 2 channels and 3-band EQ.

Buying a micro amp is a great gift for a guitarist,i know i would love to get one as a gift.Definitely agree about the 15w being a perfect practice amp.
I actually favor the blues junior, even though it has one channel.
Thanks a lot for watching =]

We can't hear the distortion properly with the volume on the guitar turned down.

I actually wasn't too impressed with the sound, but the amp itself is pretty cool.

Nice video. I know you didn't specifically test this, but what about as a portable public address system (for walking tours, that sort of thing) where the input is voice only?

Didn't try to use it that way,but from my experience with it playing the guitar i would guess it would start distorting your voice after a certain point

Do you know how does it sound with an acoustic guitar?

if this isn't really a good practise amp, which amps would you recommend for practise (that aren't too expensive)?
