I also got that same recommendation and was very disappointed with the list however this guy (C A Brown) is legit, I recommend you watch his video titled "Steam games you've been missing out on"
One thing i really appreciate from you that i never see other channels do is that you actually put the links to the steam page in the description. I have no idea why other channels refuse to do that. I usually just scrub the video to find the title screen and then spend the next 2-3 mins searching for it [they also fail to mention what platform the game is available on lmao]

I would like to say though, if it isn't too difficult for you, could you put the price of the games maybe underneath the name? It's crazy how much a simple description difference can make a game seem so much more appealing Wheen I go to the Mr. Sun's Hatbox store page I see terms like plaformer rougelike and its tagged metroidvania. Then the trailer shows like looting elements so I think it just another 2d rouge like but as a platformer instead of top down. Then you described it as a mgs5 style stealth game with immersive sim elements and suddenly the game actually seems interesting to me and I can see this elments in the trailer.

If you were making a video about underrated games, you'd be arguing that a selection of games are objectively good despite being rated as mixed or negative. I believe you meant "overlooked". Sorry to nitpick, it's just that I see this error so often and have ended up on the wrong kind of video dozens of times because of it. Still, this is a pretty good list so props for that. 👍 I own some of these. I can also recommend some. Out of the games I've completed in the past couple of years, overlooked ones I recommend include Bleed 2, The Eternal Castle [REMASTERED], Ghost in the Pool, NeonCode, NightSky, Nippon Marathon, Pang Adventures, True Love '95, and Awesome Pea. All of these have around or less than 100 reviews for every year they've been released (on average).
Im so glad I subscribed cuz most of the games you mention look super good (and the ones I already played I know they are good and Im happy they get a bit more of attention cuz damn game dev is hard lol)
I tried the demo for Bzzzt a few weeks ago and didn't like it much. I was especially annoyed by the target completion time for the boss fight, as I had multiple runs that came up several seconds short of the target time despite never wasting a stomp. Then when I did finally beat the target time, I genuinely have no idea what I did differently to make that run faster.
Nice List. Those are some hidden Gems that deserve the name. Had so much fun playing bzzzt, it is a solid platformer. I would like to highlight some of my gems, maybe someone wants to check them out. The REAL hidden gem for me is velocity noodle. It is a precision platformer from a single dev with speedrunning in mind. This game is just awesome. It only has 25 reviews, but it needs more attention. Besides this I want to highlight Sunblaze (a little bit like Celeste) and Remnants of Naezith (gravel hook high speed platformer).
I don't play all of them, I have played a ton and speak from that perspective when that is the case, but I just want to highlight everything of note that I find regardless of if I've gotten to them yet myself just to try to be as helpful as possible.
That's a good thing, I think. If you had to play every single game in this series, it would be a bit much and significantly hamper the series. Thanks for making these! Some of my favorite UA-cam videos lately.
I own grotto and it's an interesting game but the choices you make don't really make any difference so it ends up being very artificial "choices matters" type game

I'm truly tired of this FOMO gaming situation, the releases are not only hard to keep track of but they're also overwhelmingly too much in quantity. It's truly enough to make ME done of the gaming scene at least.. Like seriously. No more gaming for me. let's get a life.
