- Ben Smith-Petersen reads a statement from his wife, Riley Keough, who is the daughter of Lisa Marie Presley at a memorial service on Jan. 23, 2023.
Lisa Marie Presley was 54 when she died January 12, after being hospitalized for a medical emergency.
Lisa Marie Presley will be buried next to her son, Benjamin Keough, who died in 2020. Other members of the Presley family, including Elvis, are also buried at Graceland.

I was hysterically crying at this letter to her mother. Thank God, Riley has Ben. He delivered this beautifully for her.
sobbing.. what a heartbreaking speech... "MOMMA", "MANNERS"- FOREHEAD - ICECREAME.. . "THE WAY YOU SMELLED" - those words just did it... "notes in my lunchbox" - "safe in your arms" - "on your couch" - what beautiful words... speechless
Every word was straight from the heart . So very emotional. Thank you Ben for being strong enough to be able to read your wife's loving tribute and reflections of her mom. We felt your pain and sorrow. Beautifully done.

I am so touched that her husband read this for her. When my husband passed, I had written him a letter like this. Thanking him for all that he had done for me, especially showing me what "real love" was all about. It was read at his memorial service, after the obituary that I had written for him. I, as his widow, could not read it aloud (too heartbroken 💔) so, the pastor read it for me. Riley's husband reading this to Lisa Marie, her mom, for her, brought back all those memories. You only get one final time, if you're lucky, to let your loved one know what they meant to you, and what all they brought into your life. R.I.P., Lisa Marie....take your brand new golden wings and fly high...rest easy....your work here, on Earth is done...💔🕊️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Growing up watching Lisa Marie Presley in magazines, TV, plus her music, her passing hits hard.😢 But I learned something about her today that made me smile. Lisa Marie must have liked shopping at Cracker Barrel since she collected tea sets for her daughter.☺️

We lost our dad during the same timeframe five years ago. It was also raining like crazy and the day we came home without him the sun was shining after three days of solid rain. And we knew he was ok. Beautiful words from Riley.

@@lauralarrabee7870 thank you. It was hard cause she couldn't go to the hospital. She had COPD terminal cancer and congestive heart failure. They wouldn't let anyone in only those with COVID

I cannot imagine losing my mother at that age. I'm so sorry. She was so quiet and vary beautiful. Elvis sang Teddy Bear when I was born. It held #1 in 1957. I always thought my daddy looked like Elvis. 🧸

I don't think that Lisa Marie was close to her mother Priscilla for quite a few years and they always had a strange relationship as we know Priscilla sent Lisa Marie into the cult and she knew Elvis did not want her anywhere near it
Yes Lisa Marie was very close to her children and gave them the love that she was deprived of
And as we know Priscilla did not let her only daughter get cold in her grave until she was in fighting for money and has tried her best to destroy everything that Lisa Marie put in her will and she even let that creep ex Lockwood come to the funeral and she knew Lisa Marie never wanted him near her
