Also, is that his dining room?? Imagine having friends over for steak, and they have to sit and enjoy meals in front of your 1.5x bronze bust!!! Hahahaha, what a clown
Huge Greg fan. My husband framed a 22 x 32 poster of Greg for me about 14 years ago. My husband passed away 11 years ago, and I still have that poster hanging in my spare room. He was the BEST.
Like Greg our son first played golf at 15 and fell in love with the game. 9 months later he is hitting 3000 balls per week and taking to the game like a duck to water. His goal is to go pro and seeing Greg accomplish so much is definitely an inspiration to him. Everyone sees successful people and thinks it came easy, but it rarely does. So much hard work and courage is behind almost every success story.
I played golf with Greg's helicopter pilot back in the late 90's on a few occassions. He took us for a spin in his Bell430 Helicopter one evening along the S. Fla Coast after a round and it was Shark logo'd from the seats to the water bottles. Great interview....Good to see that Greg is just going with Kirkland water bottles on his yacht =)
I read his autobiography some while ago, and my only recollection of it was an ego so inflated, I had trouble closing (forcing) the book covers together. This video just reinforced my opinion. Just had to squeeze in his 'best buddy with every president'. And as for that bronze 🥶😱.
Greg was my favorite golfer when he was in his prime, which lasted for years, and I am more impressed with him as a person. He is the prime example that hard work and dedication pays off. Thanks for another great vlog!
Outstanding interview, I loved listening to him reminisce about all his years in golf. What a life. Amazing house. He talks a lot about his wife, kids and grandkids, what a man.
When I was 17 in the early 90s, my bro and I traveled from NZ to Scotland to visit family. My older Scottish cousin took us to watch the dunhill cup at St Andrews. We didn’t have tickets…just walked up the beach and ducked under the rope fence. We were watching Greg play, pretty sure he was up against Bernard Langer. As they were finishing up on one hole and about to leave the green, my brother and I ducked under the rope and joined a group of about 5 press photographers stationed right beside the pathway. We pulled out our disposable cameras and started to click away furiously. We obviously stood out like dogs balls. Greg walked past us , looked us in the eye, smiled and said ‘ gday boys’ Not long after that we all got kicked out when we couldn’t produce our tickets. (Did I mention my cousin was a bad influence?) So fast forward 30 years and I still remember it well. What a true champion, and even more than that, what a truely decent human being. Two words and a smile made two 17 year old kiwis pretty f@%$en happy!
As a Aussie I’m so appreciative of a wonderful insight to Greg’s life He’s done us proud as Australians and so happy for him to see his career expanded Looking forward to the new ventures he has for the game of golf
Great interview. As an Aussie and unashamed Greg Norman fan, glad to head his plans to come home. Maybe with a bit of luck a few new Golf tournaments will following him home too 🙏👍
Just played El Camaleon and stayed near the Shark’s place. What a course. Love Greg and his ambassadorship of the game is hugely influential, probably more so than most will know.
Great interview, always loved Greg, what a legend, that's some life he's made for himself and his family, top man keep up the great content Travis and crew.
Oh man, can't believe Greg sold the ranch! Fishing and all that space to roam...to head to the sprawl... Always liked his messages on sun safety. Outdoor living area was amazing, and I'd be crashin dad's place all the time as well..hA! Wow, hunting mountain lions, kind of weird, but I'll leave it a that...Another sweet episode. Really entertaining, keep up the great work Travis, and crew!
That was my favorite episode of PGA memes! Great job landing that interview and update on what Greg is up to! He has always been one of my favorite golfers!
A guy who has made a great life for his family comes across as being a people's person thinks deeply for what would be best for him and his loved ones just a decent honest human being is how I see him and not to forget a top notch golfer
Has been rewarded for his time in golf and still giving back to the game to grow it. Great to see someone enjoying the spoils and so passionate to keep giving.
he is one of my favorite golfers of all time he is a Real class act and a cool guy an seems to have remained Humble witch is pretty rare with wealthy famous people
I stood behind Greg hitting balls before a skins game at PGA West. He was hitting these towering 1 irons about 240 yards in a grouping that was the size of a kiddie pool.....so impressive
He is living a modest life now. I remember watching a video of his ranch in Colorado he sold. That was worth more than 50 million and over a thousand acres. Also, his previous house was also around the same price.
Outstanding golfer, was an absolute joy to watch while he was playing, total gentleman on and off the course, I wish him many years of health and sucess, and thank you for the joy and excitement you brought to the game.
🦈 thank you for bringing us fans closer to the worlds best. Watching golf is great but giving us a closer look into their life off the course if very entertaining!
Being Canadian, I was very please to hear that his best golf memory was at the Canadian Open. Also, my 7 year old cat is also name Apollo. He is rocking the golf world for 20 years with his World tour project. Of course PGATour does not like it. But the players probably will. Thanks Travis
He used to come and play poker at the greyhound track I dealt at. Super nice, funny, tipped well. I always saw him driving his Lotus to the track. Always an eye catcher.
dude .... you could have watched he last 30 seconds and understood the whole episode ... so awkward too lol the host was definitely thinking the same thing. that was a 30 min car crash
Hi Greg. I have wtched you play many times in Australia. My old man loves golf and idolises you for what you have done in your career and for our country. We would love to catch up and have a round with you.
Well.....Great interview not my favorite golfer back in the day, but whether you agree with him or not you have to admit he is who he is, unapologetically confident and aggressive in life, business, family and fun. He has not lost his swagger and is as fit as a fiddle. When he played he would win big or lose big but I have to admit game is game.
Great guy, found a uber-mega-rich guy who kills gay folks in his country to fund his golf tour....the golf tour he couldn't get off the ground with conventional investors.
@@carlfrye1566 Great point Carl, of course I didn't know he would be dancing with the devil and would find partners with an endless supply of blood money to fund his anti PGA endeavor at the time.
@@gregorypeterson9 Yes, it's too bad many sports journalists don't have the guts to say the same, many of them just hide behind the "two sides to the story" BS and throw right vs wrong to the side. Great to see Greg is still down to earth and in touch with the common people, having only one 1.5X bronze bust of himself inside his trophy 'hall'.
hahah and spearing mountain lions...
I mean... his wife organised it so that's his excuse.. though he did volunteer to stand in the mould for up to an hour xD
Just wants to grow golf..not his ego or bank account
Also, is that his dining room?? Imagine having friends over for steak, and they have to sit and enjoy meals in front of your 1.5x bronze bust!!! Hahahaha, what a clown
I was going to post the same thing.... Hilarious. Stay humble Greg
Huge Greg fan. My husband framed a 22 x 32 poster of Greg for me about 14 years ago. My husband passed away 11 years ago, and I still have that poster hanging in my spare room. He was the BEST.
Greg is the best. Always humble, down to earth and one of the best golfers of all time.
Down to earth? We must live on different earths
Humble? Only one person in the world thinks Greg Norman is humble and that's Greg himself. I'm pretty sure he says he's the best at being humble.
This interview shows why Greg Norman has been so successful, he is smart, driven, charming, and charismatic.
and then he mentioned trump...
@@RainerZimmermann he was also pictured with bill who was a regular on the lolita express
@@RainerZimmermann Yes, I mentioned in my comment that Greg is smart.
Enjoying these Home Course episodes, hope to see a lot more in the future!

Awesome interview! Seriously enjoyed this amazing look at his mind and life!
his new nickname should be The Snark with all his snarky verbal battles with the PGA tour, he should do a line of clothes with a new Snark logo

For an individual who only took playing golf seriously from the age of 16, Greg Norman has achieved a lot. In Australia he is
A sporting icon.

Lovely house, legacy and he’s not afraid to state who he’s appreciative of and who he respects.
A lot more behind LIV golf. Very interesting to hear from Greg himself

Superb and Greg was very cool and hospitable
Would be nice to see more investment in Australian golf, courses being shut down. Greg is a wonderful ambassador for golf, what a legend.
Great interview with the Greg, what a stunning home and the boat was special.

Greg Norman truly lives the life, as an Aussie I would do exactly what he has done if I lived in the US, perfect lifestyle.
Greg was my favorite player back in the day, but who keeps a statue of themself in their house?!?!
i mean that's not even the strangest thing in the house...its loaded with artwork.
Greg Norman
You say that like you're surprised, lol. Greg's favorite subject has always been Greg.
Obviously a gift
My wife had one done of her torso/bust done when she was pregnant

Wow! Nothing but wow!!!

This was great. Greg is a legend.
