- We head to Airlie Beach for a few days between a long drive but the weather really stopped us doing much here! We met with another travelling family, Chris checked out a local Lake, we cook and fill you on a few more caravan modifications before moving onto Lucinda for out next long stop... you'll really want to see Lucinda!!

Nice video guys. That pie shop in Sarina is definitely up there. Also next time you guys are in Airlie you should check out Cedar Creek falls. It’s a nice water fall with a swimming area at the button. We also use the same go pro set up as you and I just pop the wire for the mic around the thumb screw of the GoPro Mount. Seems to work pretty well.
We wanted to go check out those falls but the weather was pretty average, our only good day we went and met up with the other travelling family! No worries though, we will definitely get there on our next trip around 🥰 thanks for the tip with the mic! We’ve been running it for a while now and we’ve also got an extension so the mic is always out of the camera view!
After many many years of fighting for our share of the bed in caravans, problem solved! We have single beds now in our latest van, Great nights sleep always😉
I guess you can always go for sleep overs in each other’s beds to make it interesting! 🤪 I don’t know how I’d go in winter without Chris though, he’s my built in bed heater 🔥
How about snuggling up to each other? That'll solve a few problems. :)
FYI I bought a King Quilt (for a Queen Bed) from Big W on special and put it sideways on the bed (because Queen and King Bed measurements width is much the same - Just Longer which means it now overlaps on both sides). Just one thing missing - A good Wife :)

Hi guys! So LOVE what you do and above all that you share everything with us. Its as though youre taking us away with you! Ian my partner is the bed hogger so I can understand. I ALWAYS only ever put king sized doonas and doona covers on our bed. I find queen size is too short on the sides and you can at times see the sides of the bed in part. Id say Chris is the hogger at your place!🤭🤪. Keep up the great work. THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. ❤️🤙🏼🌻

We went to king size bedding on our queen bed when living down south. Up north it is no longer an issue even during our northern winter. Next week Tsv may very well be down to 14° overnight next week. Remembering it has been snowing down south and flooding badly.

Hahaha, my lovely wife steals the covers all the time. So we have a king size bed and bought a super king cover. Problem still not solved. I still end up with no covers. Love your vidoes. Keep up the work 👍

That panel is way more than 200watt.....we have a 300watt on the canopy of our Colorado and it doesn't quite cover the canopy roof.....

Add 1/4 cup of water into your wings when you cook them add flavour and doesn’t come out dry! Perfect for Webber or Ziggy cooks.

Hey Brett, we have felt very safe so far. No real issues. I caught a council worker trying to come check out our gear one day when I stayed back at the van editing. He was quite shocked to see I was home!! That was at the Cape but I didn't feel unsafe. Will go into more detail on a Q&A, thanks for the question. :)
Love your trips and honesty. We are excited and freaking out. Picking up our new van in a week and have no idea what we are doing. Love camping and destinations , but the rest is new
I totally understand you! We were exactly the same when started having never had a caravan before in our lives! 😱 it is super daunting but once you hit the road it all just kind of falls into place and you’ll be so glad you did it! I promise! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🥰🥰🥰

BTW How did the ziggy work? I think the only way is to have a solid grill and lift it off the surface with a wire frame. Pizza have the same issue. Also if you cant get enough heat in it, a bigger jet makes a huge dfference.
Ziggy worked really well, it’s just lifting it off that initial surface hey. No problems with what, we’ve heard Ziggy’s can stay quite cool but if anything we often have too much heat 🤷🏼♀️

Go to a shop that sells trivets for Webber's and when you cook in the silver trays it elevates it of the grill same for when you cook cakes amd brownies in the ziggy👍

oh, the chicken wings !! great fun vid guys. JACK is the bed hog :) I reckon every 5th town in Australia has the "best pies", it's a tough one to pick. Haydens Pies on NSW south coast in Ulladulla are pretty awesome though :) Yes, the next size sheet/doona is something I just learnt about too thanks to wifey. Always get the next size up, smart woman :P
You’re right, the best pies in Australia are everywhere! 😂 Jack is a bed hog first thing in the mornings but of a night time he always sleeps in his bunk! We can’t even blame it on him LOL 🤣

Hey Greg, we did briefly but mainly stayed on the outskirts, we wanted to head over to magnetic island but didn’t get a chance just due to time constraints! We are going to get there on lap two 🙌🏻

That’s a good idea using a pizza stone! We’ve been looking for a tray with skillet but yet to find one that’s a friendly fit for the Ziggy! Definitely something to consider, that also has multiple uses too 🙌🏻 thanks for tuning in 🥰🙌🏻

It’s a great app, you just need to find a level surface in your car or van and use that spot every time so you get similar results 🙌🏻

They arrived only half hour before us and were straight out to the jetty to do some fishing! I guess they didn’t assume anyone else would come in next to them! 🤷🏼♀️
We are out the dam all the time. It's only been opened up campers since late last year.
