The issue with Jungkook and the burgers is real, it's not because "the person who made the video is an army". What he did was really rude, if you get offered with food and don't want to accept it, say it nicely, you don't have to be rude. That's what the message of that clip was. There are reasons why BTS doesn't show up in a lot of korean TV shows anymore, one of them is because they're always rude towards the group or members, some members rarely even show up in screens.
The Donghae situation was really taken out of context. Irene even started laughing afterwards and clearly wasn't taking it to serious. It was a competition were you need to say a series of words at an high speed which how you'll easily make a mistake while talking. Personally I don't think he was raising his hand to hit her if anything he was being competitive. The reason Irene looked confused was because he said they didn't win. If any of these situations were rude it was the Jungkook episode. That was just horrible and it made my heart hurt. But for most of the other situations I found it hard to judge and a lot is taken out of context.
I feel like out of all of them the jungkook one was the only one that deserved this much backlash. it shows the ugly side of the entertainment industry in kpop and how awfully they treat idols if they're not backed by an influential company. He literally bought them all food out of the kindness of his heart when he didnt have to but they put him down saying they don't want his leftovers these same ppl are the ones asking bts to come on their show for ratings now cuz they're big it's really disgusting. The whole not bowing and giving dirty looks to ppl seems to be ppl overreacting tho ppl can be tired, nervous or just naturally have resting bitch face it ain't that deep...
Yeah that wasn't necessary I wonder what the full video is like. And that's just life but it's really how they handle it, people will always change as you grow but it's up to Jungkook to stay humble and be nice regardless
This stuff were mostly misunderstandings and fans not properly watching the videos and blowing things out of proportions. And its soo many ppl that hate on them for doing that stuff. LIKE PPL GO CRAZY OVER THOSE VIDEOS
The thing is most of that is coming from the Korean fans who shared it with international fans. If you don't understand the respect level in Korea a lot of that will seem less to you. The Jungkook thing tho I watched that whole show and it hurt my heart for him. It was more to it than that small clip. The Momoland thing with Twice and BTS yea maybe they were nervous but that never stopped BTS nor any other group as far as I know from bowing to others as they pass by unless there was a reason they didn't have a chance to. TBH I don't care about that either tho, I was just showing how others may take it. Yep, I am an ARMY and only an ARMY. Personally, I don't even want to say hello or good morning to my co-workers lmao and it isn't because I don't like them, I just don't want to talk all the time lol.
OHHH I see what you're sying. Yeah the cultural differences definitely make it a barrier for understanding. I feel you lol, some people are louder than others lol.
I feel like most of these clips fall under one of two categories. One is the thing where you put a camera on someone 24/7 and scrutinize every little thing they do. I think it is hypocritical because there is no way "normal" people in Korea could live up to those standards. The other one is taking variety shows way too seriously. Variety shows are for comedy, so people overreact to things, say unexpectedly rude things, do some slapstick, etc. In general I wish kpop fans would not get carried away in trashing other artists to protect their own. I have seen cases of fan wars where members of the respective groups turn out to be personal friends while their fans are busy trashing each other for this and that.
