First off, you should know that every single one of these examples are 100 percent live vocals. So this just goes to show you what amazing vocalists EXO are.
The funny thing about the beginning of this video when you saw EXO harmonizing was the fact that it wasn't planned. Chanyeol was trying to figure out what he wanted to say and so he started out by saying "ummm ..." and the rest of the members just piggybacked off of that and turned it into a vocal harmony. That just goes to show you how even off the cuff they have amazing vocals
The next clip where you saw them in the red suites in concert was a remix of their song 'Wolf" in concert in Japan. I highly recommend you check out this performance. LOL) And this was only one song out of probably between 25 and 30 songs they performed during that concert. Kpop concerts usually last 3 to 4 hours long and they are nonstop dancing and singing machines during the whole thing.
The part where you saw Chen singing that super high song solo was actually originally a song from a female artist. So Chen was showing that he could actually sing the song in the female key range, which is extremely difficult for most male singers to even come close to reaching. That's why everyone was so impressed. The show that they are on is called "Knowing Brothers" or Knowing Bros" on UA-cam and its another one of those super popular weekly Korean variety shows where idols go on the show to play games and promote their latest works. The regular cast members/hosts of the show are also famous Idols from groups like Super Junior and some pretty famous Korean comedians and actors.
The super impressive duo performance with Chen and Baekhyun was a cover of a famous old Korean song called "Really I Didn't Know" and it was on a singing competition TV program called "Immortal Songs 2." If you haven't seen this performance, you really need to, ua-cam.com/video/O_OGaSy99vU/v-deo.html. This was from more than 5 years ago so it was when they were first starting out, which just goes to show you what amazing vocalists they have always been. Immortal Songs 2 is a weekly singing competition show where Idols and famous singers go on the show and compete against each other to be voted the best performance of the show by the audience. Each week there is a theme and most of the time the theme has something to do with a famous older well known singer, group, composer or artist or a specific genre or era of music, and all the songs are remixed covers of songs from the artist that is featured as the theme of that week's show. For instance, they have even done English weeks where the theme of the week is Micheal Jackson songs or Micheal Bolton songs and all the singers who competed on that episode sang Micheal Jackson songs or Micheal Bolton songs. (Micheal Bolton was even on the show to critique the performances.)
So the point of the show is to take a famous old song and to remake it into something new and amazing or to blow the audience away with your vocal talent. Each singer or duo or group goes on the show and competes against all the other guests on the show and the audience votes for whomever they thing had the better performance. Each performance is given a numerical score depending on how many times the audience pushed the "thumbs up" button. The person with the highest score becomes the winner of the show that week and takes home a trophy. Its a show a lot of Idols go on when they are first starting out to help gain popularity and recognition for themselves and their group. What makes this show unique is its a show with singers and artists across the spectrum of ages and musical genres -- artists such as Chen and Bakehyun who are famous Idol singers in their 20s could be competing against a famous rock 'n' roll singer or band who could have been in the industry for 20 years, etc. And not only are the artists who compete diverse, but so too is the audience -- Immortal Songs 2 is very popular across all age demographics from teenagers who love Idol Kpop music to grandparents that listen to traditional Korean music. It spans all generations -- teens like the show because they get to see their favorite Idols and grandparents like the show because most of the time the guests cover older classic songs that they love and grew up on, etc. The show is all about impressing the audience with your performance and its a really big honor to win.
Something to note about the performances where you saw Chanyeol singing, such as his performance of "Creep" and "Billionaire," etc., is the fact that he is the main rapper of the group. So this just demonstrates how impressive they all are as vocalists because even their rappers are great singers. And not only that but Chanyeol is super multi-talented. As you saw in this video he can also play acoustic guitar and piano, but what you didn't see is that he also plays electric guitar, drums and is a DJ, etc. You should check out a video called "EXO's Most Talented Member," ua-cam.com/video/EqJISmSphTc/v-deo.html, to see just how talented he really is. Chanyeoul's performance of "creep" was on a variety show called JYP's Party People, so the older man you didn't recognize was JYP (Park JinYoung) the founder of JYP Entertainment which represents groups such as GOT7, 2PM, Twice, Stray Kids, Day6, etc. Its a TV program where JYP invites famous singers and groups on the show (not necessarily from his company) to kind of do an intimate small club performance and essentially "party with him."
I am sure you have heard "creep" before its a pretty popular song from the '90s by the British band Radiohead and its played on the radio in the U.S. all the time.
Again, I am sure you have heard "Billionaire" before, too, its also a very famous song by Travis McCoy featuring Bruno Mars and its played on the radio and everywhere all the time in the U.S.
This is a kind of long comment, but I hope it helps explain a little what makes EXO such an epic group and what makes Kpop in general so amazing. :D As you now see EXO are known for their vocals and for their dancing. As an SM Entertainment group its really no surprise that they are amazing vocalists and dancers because that's just a fact about the type of people that SM selects to be a part of its company. SM has become known for its amazing vocalists and dancers and that is why its one of the big 3 entertainment companies in Korea and around the world.
You should really check out the updated version of this video, which features all 9 of the members. The video you just watched was good, but it highlighted mostly their main vocalists and didn't show exactly how impressive all 9 of the members really are.

Exo vocals are absolutely gorgeous. I love their harmonizing and D.O. singing in Spanish will make you cry. Baekhyun's got a lovely voice; I think he, D.O. and (I think) Chen? Chen... I'm not sure but I think so. Anyway, their voices are super pretty. I don't know a whole lot about Exo, but they do have nice voices.

I'm honestly feeling upset now. Some people need to bring down EXO Ls like the way they did. Ive been seeing some people commenting negative comments in several reaction videos to EXO lately. What's wrong with these people! They don't sound like EXO Ls so I assume they must be pretending to be one to make EXO L bad.

yeah we don't need any of that negative energy over here! we just gotta ignore them honestly. end of the day it's just a comment, and the more attention you put on it the bigger the problem becomes compared to just focusing on positive comments! xD
EXO is a very versatile group that's why you see them doing different kind of music genre. Some of them are not their songs tho just them doing covers. The video you're reacting to doesn't showcase all of members' vocal abilities.
Also EXO is best known for their live performances, if you think their MVs are good wait til you see their live performances. I highly recommend these.

Hey Ahilies! I totally see where you are coming from. I'm not your regular reactor so I can see why people could think that. I can't just sit there and stare at a screen.. that's not why I do this. It's cause it's fun for me and part of that experience is making myself feel like I'm there. I can see why you could think I don't care, but I do. If I didn't I wouldn't be posting 3-4 videos a day. it would get old after a bit just staring...
I learned that when I took a 6 month break from reacting. Then the reason I started again was because I realized I lost the passion for reacting when I started to do things to make the viewers happy instead of just doing what makes me happy and whoever likes me would stay.
