Ripping this pack is like all the packs ripped now from the 80's. I'll bet in 10 more years 80's stuff will be very nonexistent as well.

Beautiful 1956 Cards Phil! I am not a vintage guy anymore, sadly I made the transition and moved into modern, but this set would be my favorite by far; can’t wait to see the grade on that Mantle!

Don't apologize for the length of your videos. The fact you take your time, enjoy the moment and reflect occasionally is what makes you different. If someone doesn't like that part, they can increase the video speed to 1.5x and get done faster. That's their problem! Keep doing what you do and love! Bummer on the surface wrinkle on the Mantle. Its a beautiful card nonetheless!

I know exactly what you mean. As a youngster, I had purchased complete sets of 1962, 1963, and 1964 Topps baseball. When my ex-wife decided to leave me, I was stuck with some major expenses. That resulted in my having to sell most of the star player cards from those sets. It still upsets me… Hang in there, my friend, and look for better days.

For you're sake I hope I'm wrong. But I thought I saw a surface crease towards the bottom of the right hand side. If so that's likely a 4.
Pretty sure you did... light surface wrinkle just to the right of his left jaw. Total bummer!
It's a surface crease and he noticed. He didn't comment on the Mantle's condition like he did with the other cards.

Don't feel bad, I bet 90% of all collectors would've opened it in seconds once told 3 extra Yanks lay hidden inside.
The Mantle has a crease on the right bottom on the neck area. It would be worth it to send to Gone With the Stain for a possible ironed away.
