@@BaseballCollector none of the hall of famers. Im waiting on some to come back from PSA and I need to crossover a few to PSA from SGC just because I want the uniformity of all the same slab and flip. Seeing your run makes me truly excited to know what it will actually look like. I need 8 cards to finish my complete set.
WOW! Those are so cool! I recently picked up my 65 topps yankees all raw but the mantle is probably a 1 or possibly 2 so cool to see my most favorite set 56 in PSA slabs! I even have a few of these but not graded unfortunately. Thank you for sharing your amazing collection!
Congrats on completing this HOF 56 set!!! The 56 is my favorite set also. I have been collecting the entire set autographed for years now...I will probably never complete it though!
Awesome collection. After a long time deliberating on which playing days Bob Feller card to get I decided on his 1956 topps. It’s his last card and visually it was a toss up between it and his 1950 bowman.
Awesome showcase! I love how nice these cards look with the headshot and action pictures. Seeing how nice these look ill have to look into buying even just a common card just to have one of this year. Thanks for sharing Mike and I hope you have a great rest of the weekend.
Awesome work! Very enjoyable to see that. Just curious, when you complete a run like this do you consider it “case closed” or will you always keep window open to upgrade some of these cards to higher PSA graded examples?
Great stuff Mike! Is a set or run really ever complete? I live by "you can always upgrade" and that is the beauty of collecting, no real right or wrong way to do it. Thanks for the review ✌🏽⚾️🇺🇲
@@BaseballCollector Gotch, great point. I guess as a set builder that is what I live by for commons as they donnot hurt the wallet as bad, but really stick to opportunity. I do not look for them, if the offer presents itself and I can sell the one I have and upgrade, to me it feels like a new card for a fraction of the price. Now this is for stars/rookies and HOF. For example if a PSA 3 is liquid at 150.00, I will go for a 4 that may sell for 200.00 if it comes up. Anything higher then a 4 for vintage, I am already excited to own.
Love 56,of course a little bias because it's the year I was born and just completed the whole set at last years National, the last card was Duke Snyder,COMPLETE!!!!
That is a beautiful run. Can see the difference in Hall of Famers from 1955 Topps with Bowman competing. Probably why it is so popular. You have some really nice high end cards. Too bad there is no Musial until 1958.
Mike, this is freakin' awesome! If I had to describe your '56 Topps HOF run in one word: Glorious! Two words: Truly glorious! Wow! Congrats on an epic completion! Seriously inspiring! Suggestion: If you still have them out, you could turn them all over and show the complete HOF run of the glorious '56 Topps cartoons! I would love to watch that video as well! Not trying to be prescriptive, just a suggestion for your consideration. 😊👊
Always enjoy the showcases. 56 Topps is such a great set!
Thanks Billy. It really is.
Thanks Mike. You've motivated me to finish my 56 PSA HOFers, as well. Don't have too many left. After watching this, I've got to get it done.
Good deal Brian. I did this video to light a fire under you. LOL
@@BaseballCollector Appreciate it Mike! Hope to meet you at the National.
Outstanding Mike! Love the 56 set. The Spahn and Koufax are on my watch list. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks Doug. Good luck getting those cards. They are great
Awesome 56’ Topps run. Congratulations and thank you for sharing
Thanks Orlando
Great looking when they are all laid out together like that. 56 is a stunner!
Thanks Otto
Should get you a Show Your Slabs wall holder for these and display them…beautiful set. Congrats Mike!
I have thought about getting some of those but I don’t have any wall space unless I pull down something else I love.
Gorgeous collection Mike !
Thank you sir.
Beautiful set. Thank you for sharing
You bet
Beautiful cards; thank you for sharing Mike.
One of my favorite sets. Congratulations. I'm 5 cards shy of completing this set including the Robinson.
Thanks Jeff. The whole set or just the HOFers?
@@BaseballCollector The HOFers. Going to have my eye at the National for the ‘56 Jackie.
I’m almost done with mine just have to get a couple SGC cards in the PSA slabs. Awesome collection. This is my favorite set. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks Jay. Which ones are you missing?

Wow. That’s impressive

Beautiful collection bro. Love it.

My favorite year, thanks.
I think it is the favorite year for a lot of people.
Great looking year Mike!
Thanks Randy

Thanks Eric!!
Clean set Mike 👍🏽
Thanks.
Gorgeous showcase!
Thanks Corey
Woah! Congrats Mike that is one of my favorite sets ever 👍🏻
Thanks Adam. It is up there for many collectors as their favorite set.
Feels gooooooooooooood for it to be complete again doesn't it?
Great stuff Mike!
Wow Mike! Your collection always impresses! 56 Topps is one of my favorite sets of all time. Beautiful cards! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks. I think a lot of people have 1956 as their favorite vintage set.
Those great cards look even better Showcase style!
They do.
Awesome collection.
After a long time deliberating on which playing days Bob Feller card to get I decided on his 1956 topps. It’s his last card and visually it was a toss up between it and his 1950 bowman.
Good choice. I like every Bob Feller card
Always loved 56's
Thanks Daniel. It’s hard not to

Thanks Scott. They are definitely good looking cards
You’re running out of Topps Hall of Famers to get. Lol. It’s amazing watching your collection grow
Not really. I still need hundreds more.
There’s so many. I finished the ‘80s and ‘90s run. 00s and ‘70s are almost done
Awesome work! Very enjoyable to see that. Just curious, when you complete a run like this do you consider it “case closed” or will you always keep window open to upgrade some of these cards to higher PSA graded examples?
It is case closed. I have so many other cards that I want to add that I would rather spend my money on those than on upgrades
Awesome. Will you go after the 56 Topps specialty cards now (mantle-berra, campy-snider, etc)?
I would if they were in 1956 Topps. Those cards are in 1957 Topps.
@@BaseballCollector oh yeah, my bad, sorry about that.
Awesome showcase Mike! I tend to prefer 55 but man seeing a bunch of these in sixes they are pretty damn nice as well
Very nice 😊
Thanks.

I almost never upgrade a card. Too many cards that I need so I want money to go to something I do not have at all.

Thanks Larry. A ‘56 Musial would look so cool
Luis Aparicio was not the only rookie Hall of Famer in 1956. The Walter Alston is a RC as well.
Fair enough
The action picture of Mantle must have been taken in 1953 or earlier as he didn't play right field at Yankee Stadium from 1953 to 1962.

@@BaseballCollector It's all good. What an awesome run! 😊
In my opinion it would look so much better if they were the same grade.
Why should that matter?
Your 56 cards look fantastic put together on the table top. I used to like the 55 set better but 56 has passed it up in my book. NIce cards Mike!
They are both great sets for sure.
Complete?! I don't see the 56 Don Mossi. ;)
Good point Skaught. No collection is complete without Don Mossi.
