Here's a quick comparison to my custom DUAL PLATED Master Series and a Classic Shields HD Dual Plated belts.

I totally agree with you there. From the first time I saw a Master Series Winged Eagle it became my unicorn. Still haven't found one.
Wow man each belt popped brighter off the screen then the previous! But panning down to the Reggie Parks and how it just out shone immediately and the small intricate details were immediately noticeable reminded me of how in awe I was as a kid seeing my first live WWF show and Shawn Michaels came out with the belt and it looked so much more alive in person then on tv!! Gotta say one funny side note tho: When starting to talk about the Reggie Parks version your voice reminded me almost exactly of Patrick Bateman from American Psycho. "My god....it even has a watermark." 🤣🤣 good stuff man!
Congrats on the real Reggie purchase! I myself own a real Reggie winged eagle as well and although the bootleg versions are getting better, you just can't beat a real Reggie!
WWE should've adopted this design for the World Heavyweight and Universal Championships. It's old school and really classy.

Are there any plans to increase the size of your side plates? Genuine question, I love your work.
Although the Reggie Parks belt would be great for sentimental value, the Master Series appears to me to be more authentic to the original Winged Eagle first worn by Hulk Hogan on The Main Event on February 5, 1988, and would be my first choice. But I wouldn't complain if I had the opportunity to own any of those belts.
Reggies Belt feels like the real deal, the imperfection, the cuts, the stitching, and the leather. It’s a 1 of 1.

Such a shame the WWF ever dared to destroy and replace the winged eagle belt. I guess McMahon thought the winged eagle belt is something from the 80's and 90's they buried the belt for real smh this is the best belt ever ❤️

Just saw Reggie Parks today at Jethro’s restaurant in Tucson.
I like the Master Series. The side bars from the Reggie Parks replica are misshapen. But I'll cut the man some slack as you said he's in his 80's. Overall the Master series is close to perfection as you can get.
I like the one in the middle the most.
aw man, that reggie parks belt breaks my heart. the main plate looks to be off center and tilted and the side bars aren't on the same place of the prongs.

What happened to the Reggie parks main plate side bar? Appears to be all twisted on one side
Best looking belt ever. Like every wrestling fan I remeber the first time it was broad casted on tv. Between Hogan and Andre on SNME with the double ref gimmick and I remember the first person who actually won it, it was non other than Andre after defeating Hogan in the same match. And of course Austin was last person to hold after defeating Hbk at WM 14. Wwe did bring it back for a brief stunt on raw in 1998 after taker and kane defeated austin at breakdown. But I think that was the last time it was ever seen on wwe tv again.
The winged eagle debuted on "The Main Event" on a Friday night, not SNME.
I have a classic shields NWA tag 4mm Zinc. It's AMAZING.
They all look good. Although I see what u mean about the 1st belt having smaller side plates. I have a wwe version but boy what I wouldn't give to have the F instead of the E. And I wish the sidebars were attached

The middle belt was done by WWE and figure inc, called the master series and hasn’t been made for almost 10 years.
The last belt the original Reggie a belt looks like the side bars are bent is that just the camera angle or is that a mistake

Great review, really enjoyed that comparison. I don’t know enough about the WWF logo legal issue, is there a chance WWE could re-release the Master Series with WWF logo? Or can they not use it at all anymore?
Stephen O'Hara they can’t use the WWF logo or “World Wrestling Federation” wording and haven’t been able to for about 8-9 years. However, you can always get a bootleg that has the WWF logo.
I'm just getting started in to belts and I'm loving the journey, am waiting on IC belt from Moc Belts (hopefully it goes smoothly) but can someone tell me why Classic Shields don't mention WWF on their site please

I use either room temp soapy water or ammonia free windex with a micro fiber cloth.

Hello, I was wondering if there was any way you could do a video comparing the Dual plated Master series to the new 2021 Dual Plated Winged Eagle WWE Shop is selling? I just received my Dual plated WE today and absolutely blown away with the plates. It has a much better strap than the usual replicas do on a typical WWE belt, still not leather, but a big improvement overall with backing as well. Great video, thank you for your time.

@@heelleathers6285 Well crap lol. I wish I had a way to send you some pics if it. It's crazy the details maybe more so than the Master has. Especially on the graplers, maple leaf on the sides, etc. I took some 4k pics of it today I'd be happy to share if those would help and knew how to gwt them to ya lol. Kind of a side by side. Just need to know what we could compare directly.
alot say the the Big Gold Belt is best wrestling belt design ever but for me Winged Eagle Belt is the greatest

Master Series is the cream of the crop.
I have an original ring used from 1996 it’s been in a glass case for years. It’s probably the best belt I have ever seen I am now selling it have had tons of offers I regret passing on one offer that’s it.

Curious about the amount of Master Series belts manufactured, as I never thought about it before. My Winged Eagle is #14 on the certificate, and my Intercontinental is #11.
There was supposed to be a run of 1000 MS belts, but actual numbers are probably 100
The classic Shields one is a real belt isn't it (meaning it's made with the same materials as the original ring used belt. ie, zinc plates that are plated in nickel & 24 carat gold)? It's not like the Master Series that is just a special silver & gold paint, is it?
My Master Series was replated in gold and nickel.
Honestly that Master Series is Waaaaaaay better looking than what I was thinking Reggie' would have looked.
Did CS have the main plate height right at least? If there a big difference in main plate sizes?

I just got The New 2021 CS winged eagle, I must say that other then the thicker side bars, the belt is identical to my Friends Reggie winged eagle. Cs really stepped up their plates and their leather work which is now stamped.
The devil is in the details. Take another look, its not exact. Its close, but never exact

JC The Lawn Care Guy I think you can buy them directly from Reggie’s site but from what I remember hearing you’re probably better off looking elsewhere. The wait time is around a year and you’re only getting the name he doesn’t make them directly himself anymore. You could check out Dave Millican he’s got his own site for sure. He’s made a number of belts for the WWE and others. I believe he might of even worked with Reggie at one time. Still a decent wait and amount of money but the quality is top notch.

Imho opinion, these are the top three you can get. There are many others, that are great for their price point.

@@antonioestark7033 Classic Shields can be found on FB. Reggie Parks is no longer making belts, Dave Millican is on a huge backorder and I would not recommend ordering from him. The Master Series pops up from time to time, but are very limited pieces.

Nice review, I think the best looking belt out of the 3 is Classic Shields. Have you ever considered the relief world plate and the fins on the gold tip? I think those features really make a winged eagle special and sets it apart from the rest. That master series, I don’t like how the eagle is raised. Thanks for posting this.
Ive had them on other belts. If i can get a true 2mm relief plate, I would do it again.

Most of the stars look like little blobs on all of these. I can’t believe they couldn’t get them right. The Only version that has perfect stars -that I have seen, is the new Shop zone dual plated replica.

How about a June 2021 1 year update! You claim Reggie’s art has not been duplicated! I think Orm & CS have finally nailed it! Let’s face it! We live in the Hd photo era, you can copy almost everything and anything! Value is different of course but the quality is spot on. Do you agree?
I feel that CS is THE premier felt maker in the world. Their etching, polishing, plating sets the bar. Their work is clean and modern at a reasonable price. Their leather is also great. But when recreating someone else's art, there will be differences. Reggie takes the clip art files and redraws portions of it by hand. That part, has not been duplicated yet. But the advancements in technology has made it possible for CS to do cleaner and higher quality work than what was produced 30 years ago.
This is the best belt review in history.
I just got a 2021 winged eagle from CS, as of 2021, I have to say that now that they use the 1 piece belt tips that there belts are exact perfect copies of MidWest, in fact my CS Hd winged eagle has deeper etching and nicer lines then my Millican winged eagle. Cs has really stepped up their game in the last year. My only gripe is that there side bars are about 1 mm thicker then my Millican belt. Question, did MidWest ever make a belt with side bars as thick as CS. Last thing is did MidWest ever use 4mm logo plates or only 2mm logo plates, I thought some MidWest belts came with 4mm logo plates. Thanks a million, great stuff
‘Heavyweight’ isn’t painted black on those first 2 belts which was only worn by Macho Man Randy Savage during his first title run. Not sure why the masters series says hulk hogan??
The classic shields belt was the best value for the dollar.
Not true. Hogan debuted this belt when he lost to Andre. No heavyweight painted.
Heel Leathers he wore it to the ring then immediately lost it to Andre who had it on his shoulder for a hot second then gave it to Dibiase who wore it for a moment. 😂 I can’t imagine it had a Hogan logo plate when it debuted when they knew he was only going to hold it for a second before it eventually made its way to Savage for 365 days.
@@Drummer8282 it is irrelevant if you can imagine it. Reality is it did have it. The original winged eagle had a Hogan logo plate. It’s a fact.
Some more fun facts: The belt Savage won at WM IV 100% did have the Hogan logo plate. Look it up. There are threads just on this topic. Anyways, Savage had that belt switched out for a customized version that was dual plated, had the heavyweight banner painted in, champion on the logo plate, and Velcro instead of snaps. He wore that belt down to the ring at WM V. After the match, the belt Hogan was handed was actually a new belt. It didn’t have the heavyweight banner painted in, was dual plated, had snaps, and again had a Hogan logo plate. It was identical to the original winged eagle Hogan debuted at Main Event and that Savage won at Wrestlemania IV. Hogan would use that belt until it was smashed by Mr. Perfect. The belt that replaced that version was another dual plated version, but with the heavyweight banner painted in and a “Champion” logo plate. Hogan wore this belt until Wrestlemania VI, where he lost to the Ultimate Warrior. From that point on, the WWF switched to an all gold version with no further customizations besides leather color.
@@kldbv982sorry to resurrect an old conversation but I’ve recently looked into this some more and found that Hogan won the belt at WMV and then savage kinda destroyed the belt in a backstage segment where he jumped hogan with a chair and threw the belt on the ground a couple times. WMV was April 2nd 1989 and then April 25th 1989, Hogan walks to the ring for SNME cage match against Big Boss Man with a new belt with Heavyweight banner now painted black.
The Reggie parks is the best the other two don't even paint heavyweight like it should be

Can you better explain what you mean that Reggie’s art work has not been able to be duplicated. These HD belts by classic shields actually come with detailed flock. Where they had etch the feathers exactly like my Millican and Reggie. Cs fixed the size of the side plates.
A lot of the art on Reggies art was hand drawn, and can never be duplicated. Flocked feathers arent even close to the original. Not to be misunderstood, CS etching and plating has surpassed Midwest in my opinion. It just will never be the original, even though they are better now. Midwest can produce subpar belts and cruise by on the fact that they are the originators.

There's only the one I have ever seen, the one in this video but has since been paired with a Master Series IC on Nicolas yellow leather. I don't think I would separate them.
