I actually have that belt with the wwf logos. Bought it at the wwf New York store in 2001 about 2 years before it closed down.

This is the first thorough review of an Orm Belt that I've actually considered purchasing for myself. His leather work there wasn't great and there was too much leather peeking out from behind the main plate, but the consensus is that his quality AND his leather work have improved quite a bit. I'm strongly considering pulling the trigger on either the Big Eagle or his dual-tone Winged Eagle. Thank you for your review.

Thanks for this review video, was very in-depth and honest like the review of the Fandu Big Gold belt which I am about to order. Am also looking at getting a Big Eagle WWF Championship belt but probably not from ORM, have found a couple of other belt makers such as Fight Nite Belts and also Royal Belts who do ones of these that are much more accurate and are also better on the customer service side.

I bought a big eagle belt from fond of military. Its a really nice belt and really good value for money almost identical to ORM but less than half the price

@@walwin let me know what you think of it when it arrives. I ordered the zinc copy im overall really impressed with it. The side plates could have been a bit better like the etching and nougat texture but apart from that I'm really happy with it. Considering it's less than have half the price of the ORM I can't have any complaints. Hopefully your happy with the final outcome
@@keno236 I had a block logo big eagle and a dual plated winged eagle from them. They are very easy to deal with a considering the prices they are very good.
I didn't love my winged eagle as it has a few little marks on the eagle but they are very good to deal with and always treat customers with respect and kindness

I've heard he's got someone helping him on the customer service point now, so that's good - but no, I wouldn't. His Winged Eagle looks great, but if I was spending that much money, I'd go with Classic Shields.

searched for orm belts they seem to be closed for good because all social media sites are down and their web site have no products sadly :(
I'd be interested to know how you feel regarding 4mm brass big eagle belts? I mean its obviously not going to be an ORM or even close to it in terms of etching but I feel they make great display pieces & look quite accurate from a distance.
A good quality brass belt is similar to the old Figurss Inc belts. They sometimes add things like belt tips, when the original didn't have one - but generally some of them are not bad at all. "Fond of Military" on eBay is usually said to be good for the price.

I've been on the brink of pulling the trigger on a orm belt but no plating on the edges of the plates would bother me too much, otherwise this is my holy grail of belts.

Thats the original version of this belt without the side plate or logo painted it was just gold
@@jayn7039 the white logo version didn't appear until about Feb 2000. The gold scratch logo is the 2nd version of the BE belt.. the very first had the block logo and a blue strap..
The main plate on the orm is small does come to the edge like the other one
I have that same belt I purchase it threw figure toys inc I'm also missing the 6th plate on my I also look for it but can't find one I love the belt and yes the are a rear find I thought of selling it but don't know I have not don't any changes but thing of getting a leather strap for it.

Thanks for your honest feedback on ORM, I mean he puts out great work. But could be better for the price, then his service still is 🍑 despite fanboys being crazy for him. I just put in a order for a attitude era Big Eagle with Waqas Naseer. Bc I’ve ordered before with Classic Shields but it takes a lot of hounding and waiting to hear from them

@@PomeloRetro but that dual plated winged eagle looks sick too. But yeah only boot companies I could suggest is Classic Shields despite my iffy experiences with them. Bc I got a NL US that went smooth other than getting a goofy nameplate and having requested one of my name. Then the last experience I had paid for a dave millican(2d wwe BG) bc I loved the version they used with that etching before it was retired. Especially when Randy held it. But paid a good chunk then got the jmar nugget textured one instead…. Then also there was a ton of issues found after I got it releathered. Like 4mm stone holders on 8 mm thick plates, idk how they rigged that up. Then couldn’t get a good nameplate and one guy after going off about all this, said it would be way more than the price I was told… then there was playing issues too, but long story short I found someone in a belt group on fb that traded for the one I ordered.
I would love a dual-plated Classic Shields Winged Eagle. From everything that I've seen - it's arguably the best version of the belt out there. For the money though, I'm happy with my Waqas version - and it matches the Hardcore belt I designed with him, so I'm content.
So which is better, ORM or Fight Nite?

Model enamel paint and a toothpick. You only need a tiny amount.

I ordered the big Eagle belt from a seller on Ebay by the name of Fond military. Its identical to the ORM replica copy albeit the etching and the nougat texture is better on the side plates. But for the price I paid in comparison to what ORM charges you I say I got good value for my money.

I was looking at ordering a zinc plated big eagle from fond of military.
How is the etching etc overall- what is good and what is not so good (maybe I can ask them to take some extra time on the bad bits lol)
@@adrianriley753 the actual main plate is of a really good standard the side plates could have been done a bit better with the etching, but overall its a really good belt. The leather also is reasonably good quality obviously its not the best out there in comparison to Paul Martins belts, but it's still very good compared to other bootlegs. To the naked eye though you can't tell any difference really in comparison to ORM which charge's you double the price. So in my opinion your getting better value for money due to the price. If you are really picky and want the etching to be 10/10 then obviously you would pay ORM the extra 300 pounds/dollars. But I think it is still very expensive for very small detail.
@@adrianriley753 it feels like a proper championship belt it is heavy and the side plates are really big along with the main plates, you won't be disappointed with it. If you do purchase it from them I would message them to tell them that you want the globe to be a lighter colour of blue to make it more TV accurate. I don't know why but alot of belt manufactures including ORM paint the globe in dark blue when it shouldn't be that colour

With ORM Belts, He paid me once for selling him artwork I asked if he was interested and I did get paid and then the next time he didn’t pay cause he said he can’t use them considering he asked for it, first he wanted PDF files, then he wanted PNG’s then he wanted JPEGs which was getting annoying as he couldn’t make up his mind about what file format he wanted and then he said it was fine, and then when it came to the second set payment he said he wanted a different format that was on a software I don’t know about or used so I got paid once and then not again because he wanted it on a different software considering I told him what software I use as I’ve have years of training he wanted me to redesign all of them from scratch which isn’t easy as it takes time but to also do it on another software that I’ve never used or heard about is time consuming I’ve never bought a championship from them as I’ve had bad experiences from Pakistani belt makers, Yh I know my mistake but sometimes you try to experience how bad it can be, as a British Pakistani myself, communication with Pakistani belt makers is awful, they just agree with what you’re saying but don’t do what you’re saying, when trying to call them or message them about an update they’ll say hi how are you and then not answer the question so you have to repeat yourself, and then tell you they will update you the next day, and then it repeats and you get nothing, it’s not worth the money to be honest depends or it is ORM belts look great but I don’t trust the images even if there’s UA-cam videos I just don’t know anymore, customer service is not surprising because they don’t have manners they’re more direct with how they speak but they don’t have common sense to be honest they just want the money and talk about how good quality their work is, I got a custom championship from one maker and the back of the plates are god awful, the gold colour faded after month, I asked for a gold tip that covers both sides of the leather like a replica does but they only did the one side and I complained and told them 5 times Over the phone before hand how I wanted it and even showed them pictures or videos of it and still they did that, when I told them that the leather was the exact same as the previous belt as I didn’t want that he thought I was lying, they’re blind when it comes quality
What did you use to paint the logo's white?
Simple model paint and a toothpick.
I have the new big eagle from wweshop.com it's pretty good detail stuff it's or millimeter thick and again to centerplate is flat I would like to have a curved I just ordered a belt from Pakistan and it's the 1986 Hulk Hogan replica belt from I'm not sure who he is but hopefully it's got good quality like the one you got besides the problems you had with it it looks all in all pretty good I ordered from etsy
The Big Eagle from the WWE Shop is not good. Look at the Globe, look at the westcoast of america. It has a weird edge!!!
Look, I mean the ORM belt is good dont get me wrong. But I'm not sure it's worth nearly 700 USD in plate comparison. The current Big Eagle with a Paul Martin strap, would be maybe 400-500 USD depending on how much you spend. And it would be perfectly acceptable.
Also, dude what camera do you use for your facecam? It's very good and I'm looking at getting a face cam...
Also I hate this idea that hes the "best". I've seen his leather work, I've seen his plates. I asked him for a send out strap for a Fandu and he asked me for nearly 400 USD claiming it's because he uses "real leather" and his leather work is the best. After telling him Paul Martin's was far better and only costs 250 GBP for a send out. He got irate, insulting as he usual does, and then told me a straight lie that the postage from Pakistan was over 150 USD.
His plates are fine, they're very good. But most reputable belt makers are as good as his, hes just got a massive following from very naive people.
I use Paul Martin a lot and always like his work.
I use a Panasonic GH4 with a Rode Wireless Go.

Ever heard of fight nite belts by Sami Malik?
I have, but not seen his work in-hand - only in pictures and in videos. The plates look nice but the leather seems not so great.
I ordered 2 belts from them a big eagle and a big gold dual plated from what i seen from the big eagle it should be on point its one of their biggest seller's. Now the WCW big gold all I've seen is pictures. I wanted to get the low budget from classic shields but i can't be spending $1280 on a belt.

Man ORM is the worst i paid for IWGP title 5years ago and never got it and now today he sends me wwf block logo belt for "my troubles" gave me the run around i tracked him down in every Facebook groups, my suggestion is if you plan to buy just go through his middle man...

@@PomeloRetro hello brother your belt is SD standard-definition from ORM.
your belt is 4mm zinc. plating process after the etching is ( first we buff the plates then the plates are plated in Copper. why copper because zinc is a nun conductive metal but copper is. Then it is plated in nickel and after in gold.
basically it is the nickel that makes the gold pop.

Yeah he was kicked off EHOWB pretty quickly. Messaging everyone constantly about his belts. He was pretty abusive to people who turned him down as well.
