Tiktok want us to pay $ to put our stuff out there :) I've been there a year and have over 200 videos in one year so how come they say only 200 has viewed them. In a whole year? Just last week I lost 40 followers at the same time and after I just posted a video! I'm not paying anyone to view my things unless it's a venue to sell them. Tiktok is getting my content and others for free to keep the app going 😂 funny AF thinking I'd pay $ for views. On the other hand my Facebook page steadily rising. I get at least 5 new followers a day on FB I think that's the app ill continue with. Like you said I might give TT a few videos here and there to keep my acct open as I have great followers there but no action and I can't stand still so moving on and keeping my money.

I paid a few times just to see what would happen. it gave me some views but then stopped. i only make content and upload it now. i will never pay for views ever again. i learned that if you pay for views those videos will never go viral or end up on the for you page becuase tiktok wants to keep you in the cycle of paying for views. yes I also gain follwers on facebook and youtube. those are the trust worthy real sites :)
What you said makes sense. I was wondering. It's ridiculous! I went from gaining about 1,000 followers a day to a screeching halt. Then I started losing followers at 100 a week. In 8 months, I gained 174K with tons of comments. and shares.
I'm not loosing followers, but my account has flatlined.. I'm consistently getting decent views of like 20-50k and some videos are getting 300k-1m.. but I'm only gaining maybe like 100-200 followers a day. Months ago I was gaining 2-3k followers a day so something weird is going on since my content and regular views hasn't changed.. it's like they're just not showing it to as many new people anymore

@@Tips4SocialMedia yeah it’s pretty annoying, you’re definitely right about them clearing out inactive/kids accounts.. so with the new algorithm change in March where videos are now mostly shown to your own following.. it’s just going to be a downward spiral since nobody will be able to gain followers faster then they’re being deleted by tiktok. I hate that they’re trying to turn into a psudo UA-cam, I think the last good algorithm on tiktok was around June 2021

yes I found out that they are trying to push the tiktok store and also people to pay for ads etc. Im not doing either. i did sign up for the tiktok store but when i found out that you have to pay for the item and to have it shipped to you, i decided not o move forward with i t. you basically only get a little discount.

True, I just reply to someone else with something similar. They want you to post regularly now and when you don’t your followers start dropping off. It’s the only platform that does that all the other platforms you don’t see this happen happen

Decline in views and gaining followers is so slow and losing flowers from 1 to 3 every few days really bad there's 100s of vidoes on that account uploading daily but tiktok killing the account

TikTok wants you to keep posting videos regularly. It has now become a part of their algorithm to have followers drop off. It’s the only platform that does it like that. Even when you lose followers on Instagram it’s never by the tens 20s or hundreds like TikTok. Other platforms like Facebook and UA-cam you don’t lose followers nowhere near the way TikTok does.

This can be a tricky one. As I have two accounts and even on my second I lose about 2 a week. The only way I can stay above a certain amount is to try and treat TikTok like the only platform I use and unfortunately that will never happen. All you can do is keep posting and go live as well as use the new features.
There was a guy who commented on this video a little while back and said “ you’re trying to tell me that TikTok is causing followers to drop off peoples accounts when they don’t post for a few weeks?” And I said yes and that’s the only platform that does it like that. And he said “no I’m not buying it.” I wish he could see your comment and the hundreds and thousands of others. On my other platforms I don’t lose followers like on TikTok. No one goes to my other accounts like Facebook and Instagram and UA-cam and says “hey you know what, Quincy hasn’t posted in three weeks let’s all go unfollowed him by the hundreds!” no one does that.

People getting banned doesn't change the following at all, they stay in your following list and if you click on them says account banned. I'm having the same problem everytime I upload a video, I'm losing followers now i just posted a video got 400 views but went down from 75.8k to 75.7k it's impossible on that app the original content I got all the followers from in the first place they lost interest in the original content an I post different types of videos and they unfollower shortly after

I agree that is sad. people use to try and make me do that when I first started UA-cam a few years ago. I found out quick that those people would not really be interested in my content and that they wont really be watching in the future but they just wanted me to subscribe to them. sometimes I even saw that they unsubscribed in a few days which may me sad. now i know they only real way to gain followers on UA-cam and TikTok is to post frequently and be happy with what your posting.

Yes, it sucks. Majorly TikTok is the only platform that is doing that. All you can do is keep posting high-quality Contant and content that you love at least you know it will be there. Sometimes creating a new account is best even though we shouldn’t have to do that. The only thing I can recommend is duetting videos that have over 1 million likes this way your video will get picked up by the for you page.
yes its a trip. We all need to post at least twice a day and consistently to see steady growth. if you dont post for a while they will drop off for some reason, unlike instagram, youtube, and facebook.

I agree, that is one of the quickest ways to lose followers. I found that out the hard way on instagram a long time ago.

I agree that is sad. people use to try and make me do that when I first started UA-cam a few years ago. I found out quick that those people would not really be interested in my content and that they wont really be watching in the future but they just wanted me to subscribe to them. sometimes I even saw that they unsubscribed in a few days which may me sad. now i know they only real way to gain followers on UA-cam and TikTok is to post frequently and be happy with what your posting.

Yes that is also true whenever I make a viral video the followers increase so much to where I don’t have a chance to see five and 10 followers drop off. The only sad part about this is when I make videos that don’t go viral and I see followers drop off

Yes, it sucks. Majorly TikTok is the only platform that is doing that. All you can do is keep posting high-quality Contant and content that you love at least you know it will be there. Sometimes creating a new account is best even though we shouldn’t have to do that. The only thing I can recommend is duetting videos that have over 1 million likes this way your video will get picked up by the for you page.

yes its a trip. We all need to post at least twice a day and consistently to see steady growth. if you dont post for a while they will drop off for some reason, unlike instagram, youtube, and facebook.
