pretty sure bro was still in college before becoming a vtuber or working on neuro..but at the same time you can start training as a mechanic at 14 in the UK..eh i don’t care idk why i’m writing this.
Vedal’s comment is a reference during the slumber party, from Koko telling a little lie to Ellie about being a mechanic and her being gullible n believing it. Since there’s a few folk confused here lol
Honestly, I always thought VTubers had some sort of "background" that gave them enough money to even start in the first place. I was really surprised to find out that's not always the case after watching the video. I'm from a third-world country myself, so I’ve always assumed that even as a hobby or side gig, being a VTuber would take a lot of money just to get something decent going. I know luck plays a big part, too-like, maybe you need the stars to align perfectly to actually make it as a decent VTuber while still enjoying it. Weirdly enough, this makes me feel motivated to finish the projects I’ve been working on or at least try to be more positive about the future.
That’s not how I understand it. Most seem to start streaming as a side gig or “something to do” while looking for job. Most don’t make a splash, and just quit after a new job is found. Only a very select few stream regularly, and even less find enough success to make it a full time job.
@@_NightbotFakeVtuber entry cost is fairly simple. A basic laptop, a webcam and a basic free pre rigged model and able to run one of the Vtuber studio programs that has basic face mapping. Most of vtubers start as vtubers for anonymity but still with an interest in streaming. Most will fail like with all things with low barriers for entry though. But you basically got to see the majority of 'starts' in this group. Mini who was previously a corporate Vtuber, Cerber who was grinding away as a full time for a year and a half but didn't get partner until being discovered by the swarm by complete coincidence. Ellie, as a true part time way to fill her time and learn how to interact with people. Toma, still in school. Then a bunch of people who tried streaming out, just happened to go the Vtuber route, during the pandemic.. with some going Vtuber after just streamer as another attempt.
@@andyyang5234 Fair point. Again, this might just be because of where I’m from, but to start VTubing, even as a side thing, takes a decent amount of money for the gear (like a good PC and stuff). Really wish tech stuffs is cheaper here
@@miraikuriyama1929 I could see how gear could be an issue, but on the flip side I’ve also followed vtuber/streamers that start with the bare minimum of gear, and try to get donations on stream for better gear. I understand that for third world countries even basic gear can seem out of reach, but that’s (usually) not the case for most vtuber/streamers. But regardless, I think personality, content and comedic appeal are all still much more important than gear. Even you can’t start as a vtuber, at least you can start as a streamer.
Camila who drew these found out too late that they both would be there, also it wouldn't really work since Neuro and Evil are 'using' the same 'microphone'.
no wonder camilla and vedal are like siblings. one is an alcoholic, one was a barista
Probably how they met
Do alcoholics drink a lot of coffee? What am I missing here?
@@CoachJohnMcGuirkVedal probably took out the coffee and filled it with banana rum since he just needed the mug surely
Barista is for coffee, not alcohol. Are you thinking of a bartender?
@@CoachJohnMcGuirk Coffee is a bit of a staple drink when you have a hangover.

The side eye Evil gives after Neuro finished talking is hilarious
Mechanic Vedal should experience the joys of Finland in My Summer Car.
you good sir are brilliant
martincinopants and vedal collab when
I NEED THIS
That's so wholesome and amazing! And Neuro remembered her Hiyori phase collab holy molly, she so smart!
Vedal is lying. "How much oil goes in the gas tank?". Lol

@@CallingAIlCaptains"I built several cars" don't mechanics build and restore cars? Cars are built in factories.
He's probably referencing Koko lying about being a mechanic before and ellie believing it
@@naphyyyeah lol I forgot about that.
Technically for a two stroke or rotary engine you do add oil into the gas. 😜

I genuinely need a fanart series of all of their past jobs
Koko story somehow remind me of Neuro "I don't want to be an engineer" arg song. Also Vedal as a mechanic as well. The song now make perfect sense.
9:00 / 9:09 - Ellie and Vedal causing a cascade of specific interrogations is so funny.
Layna reinforcing her position as the cool aunt
She remembers!!! KFP mention lol 6:57
I still want a Kiara collab part 2 lol.
Koko: Thanks for reminding me
But you were the one who first asked about their lives! 😂

Ellie asking the important questions.
vedal cant even answer since he was probably still in school a few years ago

NEURO-SAMA IS A CERTIFIED KFP! HUZZAH! 🎉
TAKANASHI KIARA WOULD BE SO PROUD
Vedal has to be lying, there's no way
Now i get why mini and toma were good with speaking with the twins, they worked with kids before.
Was Vedal serious about being a car mechanic or is this a reference to the driving game?
pretty sure it was in reference to Koko gaslighting him and Ellie about being a mechanic
4:16 some dawg said stfu neuro
Layna worked on PoE.
Koko's past is literally the same as mine... down to the same degree. Except I'm not a vtuber now obviously. I feel her.
Where's Anny?
Japan timing
Not evil in the art is criminal 😢
I love nerd Mini Arc
The occasional *BANG* and Toma lighting up is killing me for dom reason lol

is Vedal a Subaru or Mitsubishi guy?
I've literally just watched this, TF
Its funny cause I got timed out on servers channel for asking this specific question lol
Probably not a good idea to go around vtuber spaces and ask personal questions, lol.
It’s not really for viewers to snoop into these types of questions, it’s up to their friends
There's a difference between a stranger asking "what did you do before streaming" and a friend asking the same thing
This is kind of weird
How so?
'fraid of a little...
Reality?
Wait til you hear that vtuber had sex with normies 😢
