This 1999 Ford Ranger 4WD is running Vision Soft 8 15x8 -29 wheels Federal Couragia Mt 31"x10.5" tires with Stock Suspension suspension, needs No trimming and has No rubbing or scrubbing. As you can see from the pics this wheel and tire combo can be done!** With this year/make/model, the stance is Flush. I have a 2003 FX4 Level II. The truck came from Ford with 31 X 10.50's. Did Ford do something different to these to get the tires to fit? I was under the impression that 31 X 10.50's would fit all 4WD's of this series/ generation. Would not have thought this guy would have to do anything to fit them on his truck.
That tire is that I got and it’s a 32 they fit great

I had the same body style ranger. Take off the fender flares are you can fit 33x12.50s on 10" wide rims
I wouldn't recommend it if you actually drive the truck, and quite honestly, I don't see how that's possible. I had an 06 4x4(no flares) with a 4 inch superlift that cleared 33x12.50 on 15x8's, and I still had minor rubbing at full lock. These trucks are tiny, it takes a lot of lift to properly fit a 33x12.50. Before my lift, I had the torsion bars maxed out and my 32x11.50's required trimming and still rubbed. Hardly any wiggle room to actually take it off the pavement..
jonnyjb69 you failed to mention what the offset you had with those 33x12.50's. Stock rims won't work with 33s. Major trimming would be needed if you didn't lift/crank it.

I have a 3 inch lift and 1.5" spacers.
What would you recommend?
(Ps I can even spaced and lifted the bumper seems like tires are hitting sway bar)

I have a Chevy Colorado 4 wheel drive with stock 15 inch wheels but bigger and wider tires on it but i want my tires to stick out more the place i went preferred. 15×8 offset wheels i was wondering if that would make them stick out good or should i go 15×9

i recently got a 2003 ranger fx4 level II. looking for wheel with decent lip depth with factory lift (none). so hard to find and like what i see here. big help
rt40ish I have same year and level 2 as well, I put a body lift on it and running 33s on the stock Baja rims, it blew a head gasket a few days ago though so it’s down for the count for a little while, careful those level 2s have notorious transmission issues with the 4.10 gears. I already had to rebuild the trans once and it only had 98k on it then
@@tusengwu5624 transmission was recently rebuilt as the guy told me I bought from. Needs new clutch now.

rt40ish It’s a manual? Those level two manuals with the duel manual trans plus transfer case are hard to come by and are rare and sought after as well, mine is automatic

funny at beginning of clip bad ass truck. well I would not change my 2001 XLT 6 foot bed 4.0 motor 5 speed trans for anything, its comfortable economical, and everything is easy to work on exept around motor, still runs solid no rust from south texas, yep am keeping her I love no payments also :-)
31x10.50r15s under my 98 offroad.. No lift. I hate the 3.0 though..

Mountain_Man hells yeah man mine is a 04 ford ranger edge cracked keys 2.25 lift with LT265/75/16 which I think measures a 31x 7 on rims are stock 16s

At full lock did the 31s contact the sway bar?
With his offsets no. Im running stock steelies and mine dont touch. His are pushed out further. So, by that logic the contact radius or potential contact radius is reduced further. So. No. But its another story on a 2wd.

What does "cranked up they keys" mean? I have the same truck and want a similar setup.
It means cranking your torsion bars up, we don’t typically recommend this as it causes a rough ride and lots of extra wear and tear. Installing a proper leveling kit is the way to go, but this way is practically free!
@@CustomOffsetsTV As if leveling kits don't? No one should be getting a leveling kit if they don't want extra wear and tear on their front end, and at least a torsion crank is free. You obviously need a suspension lift to avoid wear and tear (except driveshaft, which is unavoidable).

Dude I owned that model ranger. It had the 3.0 v6 that's what that dumbass leaf means on the tailgate. Absolutely the worst engine I ever drove. Truck had no balls at all. I blew the transmission. It definitely is a beater truck.
Jarred Monaco my brother had a 99 with an automatic brand new off the lot. it was the only truck that needed 3 transmissions before 100,000 miles so because of the lemon law he was allowed to return it for a full refund
I believe it man. Out of all the little trucks I had it was horrible. The 4.0 was so much better for a v6. I don't have to worry about that now cause I upgraded lol. V8.
