Oh fuck, he seems so pissed off, so sad and so overwhelmed
poor guy, it's very clear he had no idea that there were unpaid volunteers in quackity studios, you can't fake a reaction like this.
And he also seems really sad about Wilbur, even more rightfully so, they've been good friends for years.
I haven't been following for a few months could you explain what happened?

1.) He didn't know that everyone wasn't being paid. He wasn't able to pay attention to everyone to everything but now that he is aware he is MAKING sure they are paid.
2.) Wilbur Soot was accused of being an ab×ser by Shelby, even though she was too afraid to name him specifically, people were able to sus out who it was based on the scenarios she described.
He bit her enough to bruise her all over her body, ignored the safe word they had for biting then would bite down harder when used, showed her off like that to his friends but she made excuses when asked so no one could do anything, held her against walls, forced her to clean his ant infested home, and would make jokes about "how it looked like he abused her."
Wilbur then admitted he did so in his "apology", would flip flop and bsck track with his language, made a subtle threat he was called out on, and clearly made the apology that was meant for HER about him while not mentioning her until the end of the "apology".
@@madelinehatress2328 it was discovered that some higher ups at Quackity Studios were underpaying employees without Quackity knowing, and Wilbur soot abused his ex girlfriend Shelby Shubble by biting her very hard daily even after they installed a safe word for it, which he did not follow according to her, as she revealed it on a stream. And so he got cancelled for it, especially after he made an awful apology which everyone took as him not taking accountability at all and making it centered on himself rather than Shubble who he abused.

Ikr!?? Dude was out of the country taking a flight for god knows how many hours, got informed about what happened and immediately made an emergency stream informing everyone what's been happening and giving an honest apology and solution.
Not to mention that he actually works a lot behind scenes on the project and also in his personal life since he is studying and going to university too, it's sad how people take advantage and betray him doing scummy stuff and being bad people

yeah for one make a video or audio apology, not just some plain text, or it seems like you don't care at all
it may be hard to keep your composure while reading something but at least we can hear how sincere they are when doing so
Honestly, Wilburs apology was never going to be good enough, because he isn't a good person. There is just, no way he can redeem himself, likely ever in the public eye.
Maybe he will change and actually grow and make some of his friends back, but honestly, he's a fully grown adult. He should be able to handle himself by now. He will likely never be able to undo all the damage he's done. He's caused, so much pain. From his fans who believed in him, his friends who tried to support him, to Shelby. I dont think he can come back from that.

Wilbur is in a bad spot and has done horrible things, but he's not ALL bad. I really believe he can grow and not repeat the mistakes of the past, even maybe redeem himself to everyone

thank you to post that : in fact the hate is a bad way to find solutions and to progress .. of course, in twitter it's already going on ... but QSMP project is a huge one and a project always need evolution by learning. @@alexislennon4973 True, they could say he got arrested on tour or something like that. in terms of lore, the only thing that was really connected to the island was that Lovejoy tour was one of the funding streams for the federation (as stated in a in-game letter to Wilbur), so Wilbur in an indirect way, was complicit in the federation terrorizing everyone on the island. Otherwise he was essentially Hatsune Miku, and the people on the island will probably get a new idol to stan in-game universe (like Ironmouse's character could become a singer in-game to replace that role for Wilbur, especially since she has some concerts going on currently).
i feel so bad for everyone who was so close to Wilbur, like quackity, niki, and especially tommy and phil like imagine finding out that your closest friend is an abuser, like someone whom you treated as your own son or as your older brother is a horrible disgusting person.

@@Ojrehman00 I think a lot of people, and me for sure, are desensitized to lyrics like that. There was a level of dissociation from Wilbur himself when he was singing his songs. In my brain they were songs about a shitty person with shitty relationships, but never Wilbur being that person I guess. He also took every opportunity to say it was "his past." So that made it more dismissible. And a lot of people process through music so it did not seem so far fetched. Some of his lyrics definitely gave me pause and I couldn't reconcile them with the persona he presented, so I dismissed them in my mind. "Your sister was right" comes to mind and Concrete.

By "unpaid volunteers", does he imply egg admins? Or other is it admins running things in the background? I thought the egg admins were already paid employees integrated in the team/studio?
Unpaid volunteers meaning the update accounts on Twitter, as they not only update they were also made to make art, graphic design, writing, etc. for the QSMP which made them overworked even though they weren't paid as they aren't official employees only volunteers...
Not really, the admin that spoke up was playing a capypabara, a federation employee, the French bunny, the skateboard Pinguin, doing art, working on the French lore with pomme's admin (they were the only 2 French admins working on the French ccs lore and role-play), and updating qsmp global. It was confirmed by them that the egg admins weren't paid either@@mollypaws

Well look at like this: He cares more about the people who are good and are being treated unfairly. He cares less about an abuser. Plus wilbur was a close friend of quackity. It must hurt so much to hear that he did all these shitty things. I wouldn't like to talk about him for long either

It’s been a long time coming.. It was Wilbur and quackity who lit this fire under the story of dsmp, a fire that burned so bright for quackity that eventually something bigger was created. Qsmp. I’m sure it always felt like a commemoration for that fire, to have Wilbur beside him for quackity. So to see Wilbur’s fire burn him instead, leaving Quackitys commemoration in bad taste and a long lasting friendship being tainted, must be a hard end to this. But despite it being disappointing, Wilbur definitely shouldn’t be in qsmp. Please support Shelby! A big thank you Quackity for all the hard work you’ve been doing for this community we’ve all been so happy to watch your dream of this multilingual server come true and watch it grow. Even having everyone make new friends and people getting to support new creators. Quackity is doing some amazing work and now even ensuring that the administration side of things will be ran better. This was to prove there is still good hope to be had for Qsmp and Quackity definitely succeeded!

Continuando, Me sinto mal o caminho que o Projeto tomou, estou angustiado e entristecido, não só pelo fato do Quackity estar chateado que este ta sendo um Ano difícil para ele mas também estou sentindo isso depois de ter sofrido ataques e perseguição xenofóbicos apos a saída do Forever
Deis do primeiro purgatório tenho percebido que a Lore era muito arrastada e repetitiva, naquela época tinha sentido que havia algo errado nós bastidores e no fim, as minhas suspeitas estavam certas, administração sofria com falta de comunicação entre as equipes e a pressão que os ADMs passavam sem contar a falta de salário dos voluntários
E também, parei de acompanhar Qsmp após os ataques xenofóbicos que recebi, eu amo a ideia do projeto de unir comunidades e culturas de outros países em um só lugar mas tive que me afastar dessa fandom depois de uma Crise de pânico que tive no dia que recebi mensagens xenofóbicos tanto no X e no TikTok, provavelmente nunca vou conseguir voltar a acompanhar Qsmp por causa do estresse que tenho daquele dia, não tenho nada contra o Quackity mas ele deveria ter mais responsabilidade e profissionalismo em desenvolver o projeto ao invés de simplesmente larga nas mãos de sua equipe
Por fim termino o meu Texto maior que Bíblia com uma mensagens para o Pessoal que odeia o Brasil e a comunidade dos Brasileiros :

Much love to Quackity for bringing this up and is focusing on paying back and fixing the internal problems. But also much much love to the admins and to those victims in this! I really hope Pomme´s admin is getting her part and gets let back in! She really needs love and support because of how outed she was, hope she and the other admins are well!
It is really sad the war in twitter with mexicans saying that if the job description says"'volunteer" it is the person that should adapt and not expect to be ever paid, while quackity himself admits that he thought that this situation was just a initial job trial since he separated some money for it.

Quackity was not aware that higher up in quackity studios were underpaying the admins or not paying them at all and giving all of them far too many hours and pressure especially because a lot of the admins are also in school at the same time and Quackity is just aware now
From what i heard from the comments (havent been on twitter in days), that the higher ups werent paying the people who run updates account, artists, writers etc. and with the time and lore they were being overworked and not getting paid, (thats all i know, dont take my word, i just read the comments so might be wrong on some 😅)

Did anyone read that statement that wasn’t authorized by Quackity? I got curious and looked for it. Before reading it I thought the admin “Jay” was going on some wild power trip but after I read it I genuinely wasn’t sure who to believe. First, I always thought the admins were volunteers bc that’s what they ask for in their applications. Then, the claims made that they weren’t allowed to contact CCs made no sense as Roier, Philza, etc had been in contact with the admins and openly showed it on stream. Unless things changed? But then reading the statement made it sound like there were some CCs saying they felt uncomfortable being so “close” to some admins as they were expecting to collab sans QSMP which made it sound like some were being unprofessional and bothering or “fangirling” and so they asked admins to stop contacting CCs. The whole art thing also was confusing. They have a whole dedicated graphic design team, why ask this admin “Lea” to make art then not pay her for it? It was claimed she was voluntarily making her own fan art then expected to be paid. Bc I never saw her art used at all? Also, the claims she was acting unprofessional and she would be fired and then threatened to spill everything sounds like a salty employee or volunteer to me. The stuff she spilled like they crave drama, and they were trying to kill the eggs, well duh. You could tell they were trying to kill the eggs; it was blatantly obvious but also, they had to do something the whole reason they were there was to see who would take care of the egg and which one would be the happiest with the condition that they had two lives. Quackity even was the villain in his own server trying to kill an egg. In the end, after reading the document it felt like I couldn’t trust or 100% believe either side. I obviously think admins should be paid, but they should absolutely have a vetting system and not let crazies in either. Bc who knows some “volunteer” / employee may just say whatever to get you to believe them. I feel for Quackity tho, he loves this project and having to shut it down bc haters will stop supporting or else is so bad. Definitely learned to take things with a grain of salt.
yeah the claim that they weren't able to contact was confirmed by antoine, and apparently she was removed because aypierre showed his discord with a conversation between him and the admin for a few second , but the french weren't aware of that rules at all.
