    I bought the exact same bag after watching your video and have traveled with it to over 20 countries. I've taken more than 50 flights, countless buses and trains, and tossed it into every imaginable setting.
    I pack almost exactly what you carry in your bag:
    - Sony a7cr with 3 lenses
    - Sony 50mm f2.5
    - Tamron 17-28
    - Tamron 28-200
    - GoPro
    - Pocket 3
    - 3 batteries for the Sony and GoPro
    - MacBook Air
    - Kindle
    - Two passports
    - Wallet and credit cards
    - And many other small items
    Yes, the bag is completely packed and tight with all these items, but it’s *so* comfortable! Thank you for your genuine review that convinced me to buy this bag-I love it and use it almost daily.

    That’s so cool that this video is coming out right now! I’m also looking for a camera bag that I can carry around daily because my larger backpacks and rolling cases are just not practical for everyday use. In this one, I can fit a mirrorless camera, an old analog camera with a few rolls of film, and some extra lenses, plus there’s still space for food, drinks, and other essentials while I’m on the go. Truly a brilliant all-in-one solution from Tenba!

    • @tombuck
      @tombuck  16 днів тому +1

      It's a really awesome bag! I think the 16L is probably a bit more practical for anyone who's a little bigger than I am, but if you're a smaller person or have a small frame, the 14L is absolutely perfect.

    • @bydennisheck
      @bydennisheck 16 днів тому

      Haha, good point for bringing it up again! I fall into the category of smaller people who still haul around those 32-liter backpacks on my back. But I do have a bit of a bag obsession-I’ve been using two ThinkTank bags, a backpack, and a rolling case for about seven years now, and the Tenba Axis 2, along with this one, will be my go-to bags for day trips and short adventures. Tenba really nailed it with this design. I’m quite impressed with the brand. Thanks so much for sharing all this info with us in such detail!

  • @GuilDormeus

    Rear loading is a feature I haven't thought of, but ya I need that! I still need to get those Peak Design clips too.
    The bag looks like it could fit everything I need like the laptop, Streamer X, mic, camera, tripod, a LP mic arm, and maybe even an Elgato key light.

    • @tombuck
      @tombuck  18 днів тому +1

      My Brevite accidentally dumped everything out too many times that it definitely turned me away from front loading bags.

  • @robert_may
    @robert_may 18 днів тому +1

    My old video about the 16L version of this is still one of my most popular videos, curiously, and that makes me pretty happy as I still think this range is one of the best specced and reasonably priced camera bags out there. My only real complaints about the bag are the lack of a pocket on the camera section door, which'd be handy for memory cards and such, and that the All-Weather moniker is a bit odd as it really can't handle the rain here in Wales without the rain cover on (but then again, most bags don't 😅). Overall the 16L is my favourite day backpack for the city and short hikes, and it's especially good considering the price!

    • @tombuck
      @tombuck  18 днів тому +1

      Oh I bet you get some pretty wild rain over there! I definitely haven’t been able to test it to that extent 😁

    • @robert_may
      @robert_may 18 днів тому

      @@tombuck Haha yeah - we get days where it’s just a wall of water, and unfortunately it defeats basically all weather resistance on bags 😆 The main weakness is usually materials wetting out, or the strange tendency of most companies to not use the rubberised zips on the camera compartment where the rain runs down your jacket and into it that way. But I don’t mind with the Tenba because it wouldn’t be so affordable if they did that, it’s perfectly adequate in lighter rain, and not everyone is stupid enough to go photographing in that weather anyway 🙈

    I have nearly the exact same gear as you and have the exact same "wants" in a bag as you - especially the back opening and hoping to have A7iv and the top mic attached when i'm out filming, PLUS the ability to bring along a couple spare T-Shits and Socks "just in case" - might look into this bag! Thanks! xx

      @tombuck  6 днів тому +1

      My 14" MacBook is about 31.5cm wide, so I think 34 would probably be too big. The 16L version of the bag should fit it just fine though.

    Can you put a 70-200 f2.8 mounted on body and fit in the bad compartment?
    Also where did you get those fluorescent zipper pulls from? Looks cool

    • @tombuck
      @tombuck  6 днів тому

      It's possible with the 14L, but VERY VERY tight. The 16L would accommodate a mounted 70-200 nicely.
      Tenba makes some nice pulls in different colors: amzn.to/3AFVtOM
      But I combined those with some cheaper ones that come in every color: amzn.to/3UOnnyU

    Is the camera compartment weather protected as well? Looks like a mesh material

    • @tombuck
      @tombuck  13 днів тому +1

      The back does NOT have a weather sealed zipper and the outer layer is the soft meshy material to make it comfortable. Not sure if there's some sort of lining under it, but I've never had any problems with any elements getting into the actual camera compartment.

    I'm searching for a backpack that will fit a 16-inch MacBook Pro, a Sony A7RV, an RS4 Pro gimbal with additional mounts, a Sony 24-70mm GMII, maybe even a 16-35mm GMII and a 70-200mm, a preview monitor, a newell lamp, adapters and cables, and with space for storing e.g. few DJI Osmo Pocket 3. Do you now any? 😅

    For me the major design flaw of this backpack is the laptop compartment. It does not have any protection on the bottom nor is "suspended" like in some other brands, so the laptop will hit the floor every time you put the bag down.
