Friend from church saw a rattlesnake go beneath their mobile home. She responded by using her husband's deer rifle to exterminate the snake. She managed to hit an electrical line and cut the power inside. Her husband returned home and with the help of a flashlight, repaired the damaged line. Status of rattlesnake was not shared in the story.
This under the house, safe capture(s), & the hikes into the desert at night, are the only episodes that make me a little anxious. RSS brings me joy, helps me be somewhere & have experiences that I am unable to experience directly. Love all the critters, the team members, the education, & especially the conservation of beautiful creatures who lived in our areas long before we moved in. I am blessed that we are in an older neighborhood, next to permanent open space, so we see critters passing through, but they have 100's of acres of hills, rocky & brushy terrain, in which to thrive. Blessings, RSS team. P.S. For anyone who doesn't want snakes & other critters saved & relocated, please find another channel. Python Cowboy seems like a very good man. I have watched his channel. He is a conservationist in Florida, who helps the natural environment by removing invasive species. Python, iguana, some breeds of invasive ducks. He humanely eliminates them, so if you want to see snakes, etc., killed, try his channel.
Reminds me of one that I caught a few years ago, it was under a triple wide trailer, on the absolute opposite corner of where I entered, under a plastic lining, I tell you what that was interesting lol
@@timreynolds4252 I had my bucket with the twist on lid with me, and my tools, it just wanted to get away from me, but using my tools I placed the bucket down in a way that it just went in

Probably because the snake just slithered away in the darkness 😉
