Hello! I have regular goldfish .I have about Two Goldfish and u want to see if I can change their color ?? Please help me with this. I Subscribed love your content 😊😊
This is 100% appropriate if you aren't changing your water like ten times a week lol imo this is ridiculous advice will kill most people's fish based on the maintenance I know most people actually do routinely....
@@ghad311 So actively create a problem so you must do more maintenance or your fish will die. Or feed them a somewhat real world schedule (finding a food source once a day in the wild) and not creating the biomass cleanup problem.
💯 I only feed twice a day. My tank is only 125 gallons and I have 5 goldfish in there (single tails) my shubunkin is huge (13 inches +). I think part of it is the types of food you feed them too. Keep it nutritious and balanced. 🙂
I remember having a goldfish that got pretty big. When we would go fishing, I would have an old ice cream bucket with hole in the lid that I would use to catch minnows and crawdads. We would take them home and put them in the fishtank, the next morning they would be gone, eaten.
If I ever get a goldfish I will watch you too see how too take care of it your the best I will go to you to see how too treat one I love the content keep on doing what your doing
I once had a goldfish (feeder fish) that I had for YEARS. My turtle decided that he was lonely and decided a single feeder may live for seven years. That poor fish went through it all, an entire winter in a cold trailer with no food, no lights, nothing. When he was living with his roommate, his roommate ate every single one of his siblings and made him watch. Man, times flies. RIP Nemo.
Goldfish: *live outside in a big terracotta planter also known as the dog water bowl* Me: *feeds them once every week* Also me: *puts all the unwanted duckweed in it* Goldfish: *huge and very healthy and none have died since put there* They used to live in a huge tank and were fed to perfection according to Google and had the perfect tank and they were dying and got infections! WE HIRED A PROFESSIONAL TO MAKE SURE THEY WERE IN PERFECT CONDITION!! BRUH!! THEY DONT EVEN HAVE A FILTER OR ANYTHING IN THEIR NEW HOME! THEY GET FILLED UP BY THE HOSE TOO!! LIKE DUDEEEEE
That’s ALL great advice! I’m glad you mentioned temperature. I think that factor alone that might be the best way to increase appetite (for any of us).
Imo it's better to go slow than fast when your fish is growing cause it's possible to overshoot and end up with an obese fish, which can then end with organ failure. Usually though that's not an issue unless you're someone who power feeds (I can't remember the right term, but it's something like that) so I'm really glad you mentioned to not overfeed! I feel like so many people want their goldfish to be a certain size rather than the size that's right for them, you know? Like they'll have a fish who's a little smaller than usual and think there's something wrong with it rather than just realizing it's just a smaller fish. I know you don't like plecos but I have a dwarf pleco that I'm taking care of while my friend is at college and even for a dwarf pleco she's itty bitty, but she's just like that. 🥰 Her name is Ringling
Yeah I just fed mine once a day and they already grew to 9 inches long and fairly wide. Also only had to change the water once every month and a half to 2 months because of the aquaponics set up to get rid of extra nitrogen.
When I was a kid I had this super tiny goldfish that i bought at pet smart for very cheap. That fish grew to be a massive goldfish; The goldfish was the size of an adult man’s hand. Little man lived up to 7 💪
Would you ever consider doing a long-term feeding experiment? Keep a few fish from the same clutch (?) In seperate tanks, and compare lifespan, health etc between normal feeding and 'power feeding'? (REALLY long term, I know, but if you're planning on raising goldfish for the forseeable future anyway and you have the means, it would be nice to know more about the long-term implications of power-feeding, if it turns out there *are* any)
Yes goldfish are all day grazers but food should vary. Greens help digestion especially for fancy goldfish. They tend to suffer from swim bladder issues.
I feed my goldfish like once a week. 9" goldfish raised from feeders for my turtles. They live in my 600 gallon above ground pond with my 2 turtles. They just spawned for the first time this year.
This short brings back a memory, from distant times, when i had goldfish of my own. I was 3. Having never independently fed my goldfish(who i all named Brian) I managed to kill them which ive always associated to pouring the whole sprinkler into the tank
I actually have a question. The goldfish at the beginning; does it have trouble seeing with those strange, yet beautiful growths on its head? I’m curious!
I can't help it to notice that maybe you can put a little bit of decorations in those tub and the decorations are good enough not to harm the fish e.g sharp decor= harmed or dead fish, smooth decor= even more happier fish
"ARE YOU TRYING TO GROW AN ABSOLUTE CHONKER LIKE OLIVIA" As a sibling who had sister name Olivia this really made my day lmao 😂😂 Btw she ain't chonker, she is an absolute unit 🤣
I remember having goldfish so large you could actually eat it if you were adventurous enough. They lived 10 years before I got sick and couldn't maintain them

My Goldie grew as big as my hand and we only ever fed him once a day! We called him Otto like the book. Loved him a lot.
I like how you just poured all the food on his noggin 😂
I once had a goldfish I called Kirby, for the simple reason that everytime I fed him he just straight up inhaled his food, like in a second.

Goldfish poop is huge. You really do learn something new everyday..
Question : How do you feel being called the “Gigachad of Ranchu Goldfish” from your fans? 🎤

It reminds me that I visited a gold fish aquarium when I was a kid...
Nothing is normal in goldfish land anymore but your fish look great.
That is the longest poop from a goldfish I’ve ever seen
Something worth noting is that you're basically trading life span for size.
They look so good as chonkers!😎
LOL When you dumped food on the goldfish’s head at the beginning 😂

No
Goldfish can grow to be REALLY big.
Ever seen a picture of one of them caught from a lake?
That dump was a mile away from the fish 🤣
I kept my goldfish in the high seventies and low eighties Celsius range. They have been in their slumber for 8 hours.

the black fish is so beautiful, and so is olivia

I want goldfish that look more like the wild carp
Of course someone with a Jet Jaguar profile picture would be a person of culture.
It’s so funny how he just dumps a whole spoonful of food right onto the goldfish’s massive forehead at the beginning.
Over feeding goldfish is the number one reason why they die when you overfeed your fish, the fish create ammonia, which kills the fish
I remember having goldfish so large you could actually eat it if you were adventurous enough. They lived 10 years before I got sick and couldn't maintain them
Where did you buy your goldfish? They are so cute 😂! That is why I wanted to know where to buy😅!
They are so adorable. ❤️☺️
The feeding is subordinate to the water and the hormone fish release in it to keep from out growing their pond.
