Your videos are the reason why I am keeping goldfish right now! I have 4 orandas and 4 ranchus all because your video was recommended on youtube one time and I was love strucked by those adorable ranchus and decided to keep some myself. Keep up the good work and looking forward to more of your videos soon ❤️😊
This was absolutely fascinating to watch. I’m still shocked at all the babies you had. They certainly grow fast when they were so tiny. Thanks for sharing this information with all of us.
Thanks for a really nice and detailed video. I would love to see a bit more detailed video which may enlist, how often should the water be changed, what should be the frequency of feeding fish, how should you clean the tank OR drain the water when you have small fries in the tub. I hope this would help a lot of us and we would be able to benefit better. Hope to see your new video soon (y)
You are so much inspiring to me...I have been following you, learning from you since last April (no I'm not doing any April fool) and finally came up with an idea to open my own channel in my own language. Love from Kolkata big brother.
So I've been seeing alot of people asking for a give away or that they want to buy some of your gold fish. I think you should set-up a website or something so you can sell them to people. You'll make lots of money and can advertise your website on your channel. You can post a picture of the gold fish you want to sell and people will buy them. Just my opinion. I think you can make alot of people happy.

Thx for sharing this video, I also take care some baby goldfish from may until now, at first I counted about 70babies fish , but now just two of them still here, and their size is so small compare with yours , would you please tell me how to do it? Really Thx
whatttttt its so cool i love that one..I actually not focusing on goldfish coz i have kois and the reason why i watched this video is beacause it looks unique and beautiful , and i have only one goldfish hehehee...
That’s a great video.. by the way for Asian countries like Singapore and Indonesia,, do we need a heater for Ranchu? Like our room temperature is already around 27-29°
Hi your breeding setting environment was brilliant. Female laid her eggs and fertilized by the males without devouring them as the net was the barrier. 100% egg retrieval.
So 2 questions. How did you get that many eggs to hatch? My goldfish laid eggs 2 maybe three times and ate them all but i have seen videos and most people that raise the fry get a small percentage of babies from it. You have a lot of fry. Also, the steamed egg...do you literally just steam an egg above water? I have a goldfish that turned upside down. I managed to get it upside up but not showing much interest in food. I knkw strange question but do you think steam egg might help. I have tried de shelled mashed peas. I have tried pellets with garlic added. Thank you for this video. It made me happy
Just recently realized that most red + white ranchu and even black are usually bronze color in the first 2 months, with only a handful already having colorization. But these juvenile are the best to watch growing, the satisfaction is really there after a couple of more months to a year depending on the feeding regiment.
Thank you for your great video. Just bought 4 ranchus. Guess these are 40 days old so my question is i give them scrambled eggs with other gold fish food or just eggs
If you want a fun fish breed one of these with a common goldfish. You just get this big fat common goldfish but it still keeps the shape of these guys. I have one named Dr. Chunks. Use to have another larger one named Dr. Chunks Sr. But sadly he passed away :(
I just discovered ONE fish fry in my tank. From your video I would say it’s only 1 week old. I’m surprised it wasn’t eaten. Ive removed it but as I’m totally unprepared how should I proceed in looking after it?
In another video of his, he cracks 1 whole egg in a little bowl and mixes it with a little water and after he mixes, he steams the egg and then gives the fish a portion of it :)
Hello. Please help me out, ThinFrog and friends. I woke up today to discover a thousand eggs in the goldfish tub! I've been looking around the internet for information, but don't feel like I'm getting anywhere. The parents were eating the eggs, and I moved them to another tank this morning. Do I need to do anything else to take care of the parents while making sure they are healthy? They don't seem to be eating like yesterday. How do I take care of the eggs so they hatch as yours did?
@@halihorror Thank you for asking, you guys are so nice. Still trying to find enough of that information, but might be getting somewhere if not anywhere. ^^
My brain exploded when you showed that trick for harvesting brine shrimp! Much easier than my method!

It's so interesting to me how a lot of fish don't even look like their species at first. It makes sense but it's just interesting to think about.
much bigger in 7 months than mine in 2 years, lol

Not to judge, but based off my poor uneducated experience, maybe its the size of the tank

Nice video,, what do your feed them at 3 months onwards?
I had been just feeding fish pellets.
You can give them pellets. You can also give them shelled and boiled peas as treats.
When you said give it to my friends I thought you meant you were going to feed it to your other fish oh my God LOL
