Looks like fun....i was just challenged using a Barbie pole fishing on ohio river. It was all fun til we hooked a 18lb carp. Got it in tho took forever. Good job, way to stick with it.

That would be quite the challenge. The parts on this rod/reel combo were super cheap. I was very surprised that an 8 lb blue pulled the reel out of the reel seat while it was in the rod holder. Crazy stuff!
