  • www.saddleback.com/wordsoflove - Do you ever find yourself saying, “I need more time” or “I can’t seem to get it all done?” We’ve all said that. We’ll all have unfinished business when our time on earth ends. It’s just a fact! However, there is one person in all of history who finished all of the tasks he had before his death - Jesus Christ. As Jesus died on the cross, he yelled the three most important words in history when he declared, “It is finished!” But what exactly did he finish? The answer to that question makes up the basics of the Christian faith and the Gospel. In this message, Pastor Rick Warren breaks down the five things that Jesus finished on the cross as he continues the series The Seven Greatest Words of Love.

Does anyone know if Hebrew priests really used a Greek word Tetelestai in an inherently Jewish sacrificial ceremony. That sounds odd to me. Also, I can understand artists signing off a work with their name and date, but to write "it's is finished" on a work as an concluding act seems odd to me. I could not find any evidence of its use in ancient art anywhere. Any supporting evidence would be helpful. Much appreciation for the good teaching and sound doctrine of Saddleback Church.

Are tattoos a ceremonial law or a moral law? Because I believe it was in the same book as the "no mixing fabric", but I see a lot of people condemning it today and I'm kinda confused, is it okay or not?
