If you’ve ever been to a gym to workout with headphones before you would know the most important thing in headphones is not the sound quality, its the wireless functionality and comfort. These headphones are fine.
I had a friend just last month, he went to the apple store and bought it premium. and when he heard it, he was so impressed by the sound. I told him to try my argon mk3 and the pandas for comparison but he heard it and said they are too bulky and not good for workout plus it's not an apple product. Tbh, both audiophile and non-audiophile groups are just polar opposites.
I mean they're not wrong those are also both neutral sounding headphones, which most people don't particularly like. You shouldve presented them a fun/bassy hifi headphone The only point I find odd is the brand loyalty to apple
I remember when I came to the US and being in high school and wanting a pair of beats studio so badly. Tech channels giving rave reviews, everyone using them i thought they were the best thing ever until my friend bought a pair and i got to listen to them. Absolute disappointment, I couldn't believe it how trash they were. I didnt know any audiophile brands back then and thought these consumer brands were the best... as all normies do LoL. Long live audiophilia.
Going from gas station to cheap Walmart headphones to this was a big Purchase for those who don’t make a lot of money. Is this an audiophiles dream? No but this is great for those who can’t buy the best, it’s great.
I would personally recomend the sony WH-CH700n as for consumer fi. It has elevated bass while still having very nice vocals. That being said the beats solo pros are pretty good and arent as bloaty as the beats solos so apple is getting there.
I think it's ridiculous people are willing to spend upwards of a grand on a flat screen tv, jewelry, etc. Stuff they'll only use once occasionally. Yet if you want to spend that money on headphones, something you'll use everyday for hours on end, they you're the crazy one. Btw any chance you'll get the verité closed to review?
I just got the beats Solo 3 and i am glad i purchased it than the apple airpods max because this was my first premium quality headphones purchase and i had to get it beats!😝
5:18 then don’t share your opinion on products that don’t relate to you. You should have pointed that out when you began the video. I can connect these to my TV. Anything it can. Earbuds don’t fit in my ear, these are in my price range they just work.
Left my bag with my Beats 🎧. Thought I will never see them again. Finally, got them back. The sound 🔊 quality is good. But, I'm lumbered with two headphones Bose and Beats
I paid $30 from goodwill for a pair of Beats Solo3 rose gold in perfect condition. I find them to sound great for my listing needs. Most people who own beats now are kids and they don't care about technical details. The Beats do sound good period even while listing to classical music.
You were right to begin, noone takes Beats seriously. Alternatively, have you looked at other over-ear wireless. Looking at the Focal Listen and wondered what are your thoughts.
The best part of my beats are great bluetooth pairing and it was free. Even then, they are outliving their usefulness and I’m looking for a nice open back replacement for work at home.
its like they took your advice lol. With the solo pros they boosted lower bass, but mid and high bass is almost flat, resulting much better sound. Also the mid range is quite flat too. they are going in the right direction.
I just bought these headphones. The sound quality sucks and they hurt my ears. My kids’ $20 elearning headphones are just as good. Your review is right on. I’m going to dive into the rest of your videos before I make another mistake. Thank you!
Most of the stuff on this channel is quite expensive tho, cus it's aimed at audio enthusiasts. So do keep that in mind. But you'll definitely get the best performance for that price.
@@speedyflashh6529 It depends. If you are an “audio snob”, like the guy in this video then they suck. However if you are an average music listener or headphone user and you are looking for a cheap pair of headphones with some decent bass and clearish sound, they are fine.
I have a pair of these, I like dance music, pop and rap, best headphones I’ve ever had, great base and very comfortable, I use Apple products which helps, boom, review over, no endless, pointless nitpicking like this bloke and countless others.
Hey can you use these with Bluetooth and the audio cable at the same time? for example can you connect them to your phone via Bluetooth and to your PS4 via audio cable
Agree on ear seems silly. I’ve also noticed getting the same quality in over ear cans compared to IEM is quite significant. My $50 Sennheiser iem absolutely our class my MSR7b. I need to spend allot more money on over ear headphones
I have a question as less of a technical set and more a casual set of head phone are they good, because I have a very nice pair for my technical work, but I don’t want to carry them around everywhere
I still think edm ect will suck on that headphone that lacks so much detail and that's no fun for me the more detail the more fun it is in a headphone for me
JUST BOUGHT THESE TODAY :) love them! These aren’t just headphones .. to me at least ..yikes u hated them lol.. to me at least .. they work better than what I have
Questioning “why on-ears are a thing” is okay once but the repetitiveness in the video is just plain annoying. Do some research before making the video and you’ll answer it without coming off a snob. People use different headphones form sizes for different reasons. On-ears are great for the gym, and some prefer their even better portability. Either way, these are not audiophile marketed pair of headphones.
So i like a bit of EQ'ing. If i was to elevate the bass, say for less bassy cans, do i start to bring the shelf down at 125 - 200hz, or have it completely down at that frequency. Any advice would be fantastic (from anyone!) Thanks in advance. BTW, really enjoying this channel and it's content!

My reference for headphones are largely from the consumer level. WH-XM3, WF-XM4, airpods pro, buds 2 pro, loads of amazon cheap sub £20 in ear headphones. But recently I bought the HD 599 as it was cheap on amazon. Now I can't help but be abit snobbish. Literally after hearing that I got a topping stack and a sundara, and I can't help but actually listen to music a few hours a day, like literally dedicate time to it. Before the only reason to listen to music was to pass time on public transport. Now I get the audiophile crowd and I only have a pleb setup. I think people who scoff at audiophile never put a decent pair of headphones, as this used to be my attitude towards audiophiles aswell. One thing people will notice on a good pair of headphone that they've never experienced is the stereo separation. Normally I hear music at left right and center on my wh-xm3, but on my sundara I hear it at left right center and 45 degrees left and right. I didn't even think that was a thing lol. It what makes music actually enjoyable to listen to. Listening to Jimmy hendrix all along the watchtower on the sundaras for the first time was trippy, never got tingles down my spine from a song before. And EDM, which is what I listen to the most, is just in a difference scale on the sandaras compared to all other in ear on over ear consumer I have. The only reason I still have xm3s, is their portability, but everytime I go out and listen to my music on them I yearn to just turn back home and call in sick.
Sorry I only made it half way through the video. It seems more of a comparison instead of a review. Why would you want these when there are much better ones that are much more expensive? I would never pay the new lower price that they are currently. Expensive headphones don't impress me. But it's kind of cool that I just bought a pair with cords and bag in mint condition for $5.39 at a thrift store.
i am told people who wear glasses find on-ears more comfortable than over-ears - thats why they exist in addition to being more portable and lighter weight
