It's not a bug, it's part of Lee Shin's lore, since he can't see, he goes for whatever sounds closest.
They probably had to edit Q to work with the new visual and thought "While we're here, we might as well *fix* some weird scripting in this ability from 2012" but in trying to simplify and streamline it, we got this too!

I know the ability works somewhat like this in One-For-All, but the strange part is being able to jump to an *enemy* Lee Sin's target.

@@TheYoungonex of course it does... not all, but many abilities are able to interact with allies abilities in One-for-all.

So it's like Aphelios' bug back then where if both team have them they share the Gravitum activation, like, Blue Phel may be hitting a top side blue buff with Gravitum's passive and Red Phel activate Q:Gravitum on botlane minions and the top side blue buff also get affected?

Why wait one-for-alls? Can't this happen in arena if multiple people pick Lee at the same time and face each other?

Because 5 Lees on the same team could dash to one enemy with q2 (hitting different targets, of course) and one-shot him? It would be chaotic and that's why it's interesting to me
Since you can't Q2 to allies, it can only happen on the Sett map because that's the only map where there is a valid target for both Lees to hit their Q on.

i was about to comment why this is like this after the visual rework but yea it‘s because of the clips you showed. sadly riot removed that it was so much fun in urf
OK, I understand how and why it works (it's pretty darn obvioius), but how could a visual rework cause this? Surely they just replaced the model and particle-creating-code on the ability, right? Did they accidentally delete one line of code too many?

yes, but we are talking about mirror matchup like this is a common scenario. This scenario don't exist in competitive, so the bug can stay.
if they had this thought the game would have way more exploits thinking it wouldnt affect normal matchrs

of all of bugs this one with few others makes sense and should be called a feature (nnot like escaping blirtz Q with ezreal E or tris W wtf are those xd)
That's a delayed dash/blink, Nautilus and J4 have this too. If they ever release a champ with that kind of dash, it would work the same, it has been there since the beginning of the game, so it's a feature

I mean, who cares? There can't be 2 lee Sins in 1 game, so whatever.
They chose an easier path, therefore optimizing their work time and the game itself.
