and make sure the wheels still on the ground are chocked. When I do the front of my car- in addition to jack stands and the hydraulic lift jack, I chock the rear wheels along with the hand brake. Generally, when cars fall off jacks- they roll off. Don't let those wheels roll. Good luck everybody- be safe.

Yep. I use a 3.5 ton jack and a jack stand and a wheel. Many people die from crushing every year.
