Sadly it didn't exactly end well for him. The recap glosses it over, but the gets executed for fulfilling the king's orders. It wasn't exactly correct that the king ordered them to distribute rotting food. When the king tells them to distribute the foodstocks in the harbor, the advisor protests and says the food was spoiling so it wasn't sent to the army, to which the king then just replies "then you must hurry". Naturally, as King Louis XIV is an absolute monarch, they can't go against him. When D'artagnan then informs that food had been indeed been spoiled by the time it was given to the people, the king then orders the advisor to be executed for distributing rotten food.

One of my favorite movies. The character developments, the plot twists, the tragic story, the sins, the acting. Such a roller coaster. It's just perfect.
This movie was excellent. I enjoyed every minute of watching it. The entire cast had exquisite acting, including Leonardo DiCaprio for playing both characters. Made me emotional at the end, not going to lie. Highly recommend watching this movie if a fan of Leonardo DiCaprio’s work❤️❤️ 9/10 for me .
