- At precisely 12.40pm on Wednesday, Judge Sarah Huggett - in a judgment that took two hours and 21 minutes to deliver - found former high school physical education teacher Dawson guilty of carnal knowledge with one of his students back in 1980.
You might think that everything you needed to know about Chris Dawson had been exposed during his epic 10-week murder trial in Sydney last year, where he was found guilty of killing his wife, Lyn. But you’d be wrong.
Dawson will appear for sentencing for the carnal knowledge charge on Friday, September 15.

Been following this case since 2018. It's such a sad story for all parties. I am glad that AB has has the courage to stand up and show what happened to her in the early 80s was wrong. No teenager has the wherewithal to decide whether a relationship with a fully grown adult man is right or not. I really hope Dawson will open up and be honest about what happened with Lynette.
