The journalist did the work police should have done 40 years ago.

I, like so many other people, feel I've come to know Lynette Dawson through your podcast. Bravo for helping to put that bastard behind bars after all these years.

I have listened to The Teacher's Pet and The The Teacher's Trial since the news of Dawson's sentencing in early December. I'm in the UK and had heard nothing about this case until then. I am really grateful to Hedley and the team for these productions and for the good they have done. Thank you

Thank you Henley and congratulations to you and your team. It’s great journalism. It’s so sad to think of Lynne’s daughters growing up thinking their mum had abandoned them. Times are slowly changing, but a woman dies every week in Australia at the hands of men like Chris Dawson, and his enabler Paul Dawson. So many are also killed or traumatised too. I hope JC gets justice for the grooming and child sexual abuse she endured. This men are appalling. Please continue your investigative journalism and your work to expose gender based violence and hold our institutions to account.

A lot of journalists have a conscience and are doing extraordinary work on behalf of humans, animals and the environmental. They ply their craft on multiple platforms. It's truly disingenuous to suggest they're in short supply.

Please can someone follow up on a podcast into the death of Phoebe Handsjuk. This was incredibly sad and something needs to be done.

Very well done Hedley and your team. I find myself being concerned about Chris Dawson now! I hope that he is being looked after well in prison I hope he is healthy and remains so. I would like him to live to be 100 and remain behind bars. It still won't be the sentence he imposed on his wife.

I haven't heard or read much about what happened to Lyn's body. I hope the disgusting murderer at least reveals that information one day, or at least the police work it out somehow.

Listened to all the podcasts here in Japan, I’ve only heard the voices…very strange to put a face to the voices. Hedley is younger than the image I had made in my head and Claire is older than the image I’d made….love the podcasts.

My wife wrote some pretty awful stuff online about this murderer as she was disgusted with his actions, the police have arrived at my house today and arrested her for hate speech. She is at central police station Sydney right now. Be careful what you say about a murderer online. The barrister has initiated this action with the police I have just found out.

@@karmad4491 My wife has been charged with a hate crime and will be in court early October. Apparently the barrister received a lot of hate mail and enough was enough. Fair enough, I'm just letting people know to watch what they write online. The same barrister has now become a judge and is not liked on the law circuit with other judges I am told by the police, so this may help my wife....let's see. Thanks for asking.

@@johndesign39 Good luck to you and your wife! I read the most awful, untrue comments on YT, and even if the comments are reported, they are never taken down. And, of course, no one gets into trouble for lying.
Just curious, were your wife's comments on a platform like UA-cam - or did she write a letter? I'm an American and we have the good old 1st Amendment (but then we also have the 2nd Amendment). Once again - best of luck to you both!

@@karmad4491 My wife wrote an email to the barrister from the barristers contact page website. Don't write angry is my suggestion. We have free speech here also plus hate speech now. Thanks for your interest.
