Well I’m glad your back and it’s so great that you still have your old home back in Georgia. Thank God you didn’t sell it. Your family needs to be happy and at least you tried it.
Girl, I definitely can confirm the traffic. I lived it Ft Lauderdale. I lived 8 miles from work and on a good day it was 45 minutes to an hour to and from work. There were times it took hours because of traffic accidents. Never, ever again!

I’ve been in Tampa Florida for 12 years, and the last few years it has exploded population wise and cost of living wise. I can totally understand why you felt like leaving. Everything is a chore battling traffic and crowds. Getting groceries or doing basic things can be such a huge event and it shouldn’t be lol. People can be very rude and they drive absolutely insane. I always envy when I see people on YT shopping at stores and they’re empty and they’re laid back just pursuing because I’ve literally never had that experience here lol 😂 but I’m glad you’re back!

This was a bit difficult to watch because the music was SO loud and the talking was SO quiet, but I’m glad you are back to YT and back in your happy home.
I’m sorry about that, it sounds fine when I am editing but seems to sound different once I download the video 😔 if it didn’t take hours to download, I would just adjust and try again. The app I use is different than the one I use to use because it produces a higher quality video. Hoping I can get it straightened out soon!

Your story sounds similar to ours. We moved from northwest Georgia to Fort Myers Florida. We stayed there a year, and as soon as our lease was up, my husband couldn’t get back to north Georgia fast enough. It’s a whole different thing to live down there versus vacationing. It lost a lot of its appeal from the traffic, tourists, and encountering so many rude people, that we were not used to here in GA. I completely get the depressing feelings of the whole experience. Your home is lovely 💕
Yay you’re back! I have an aunt and same thing happened to her. She’s lived in NJ, small town, and moved to Houston because most of her family is here. They sold their house in hopes that they would buy one here but the timing was just bad. No luck, everything was way too expensive. Her husband is retired and wanted simpler living but the major traffic everyday was making him depressed. Her job was also far from their rental. going anywhere here would take them so long and it started getting to them. I think they made it about 8 months and moved back. Sad thing is they still can’t buy a house yet. I totally get where you’re coming from cause I saw it first hand with them. It was unfortunate but like you she says at least they gave it a try and know now.

Orlando Native here, and I couldn’t agree with you more about what you said living in Orlando. I’m working on leaving here as well, born & raised and I’m ready to go. It’s definitely a place for just the tourists now. Can’t wait to see more videos in the future, though! Happy you’re back 😊

Orlando native here! You have to go where you’re happy I agree. I’ve lived here for 26 years and I’ll never leave. The traffic is definitely insane and it’s very pricey ESPECIALLY Orlando but it’s home. So sorry your experience wasn’t great. It’s definitely not for everyone.

Hey girl! So the corded one I have is a shark uplight apex and the cordless one is a dyson v11. I also have the tineco one s3 that I use to vacuum/mop the hard floors. They all work so good!! 🥰
Glad to see you back...I get it with the traffic and stuff...I'm in Kentucky and live in a small town...if I go to Louisville or Lexington, which are our biggest cities, it stresses me out with the traffic...
Wow that water bill is insane!! Do you think the pool attributed to that? Idk if that would or not, I live in FL, have my whole life and I've never had a water bill higher than $20 but I live in a small town about an hour and half south east from Orlando. Like you said atleast you tried it and even though it wasn't a good fit you won't always wonder what if. Glad your back in your beautiful home and happy 🥰

Welcome back!! We just moved to Florida from Nebraska. We're over on the east coast though. I hate Orlando! When we need to go to stores that aren't available where we're at, we drive further to go to Jacksonville, just to not go to Orlando. My husband will be going to work in Orlando next week and I'm nervous for the outcome. He goes to work early so traffic shouldn't be an issue then but coming home, I know is going to be a whole other story.
This is great to hear! I mean not great but my husband and I live in MA and have debated moving to Orlando area.. it’s hard to know what moves are right when they’re so drastic! 🤍
As a Floridian (a very SOUTHern Floridian)... its assumed that if you live north of WPB its because of your work... not because its fun or nice to live there LOL

YOLO!. lol I have one question, was your house in Orlando? Your water bill makes me nervous. That sounds insane. My water bill in SC is like a quarter of that. We are looking at Davenport/Clermont area.

I live in Central FL and I absolutely cannot stand it. I’m actually looking into moving out of Florida in the future. Also, depending on the job, usually you will be taking a pay cut moving to FL. The heat is a real deal breaker too. A lot of people are rude here as well. I’m also a Florida native. I absolutely can’t stand it here lol.
Orlando can be kinda pricey in certain areas and you get used to the summer traffic because of all the people visiting but in all honesty it's not that bad yeah some areas cost more depending on what's around and just know in the more touristy areas walmart and probably target I'm not sure will raise their price a bit higher because of that, im sorry you didn't have a great experience living here. My advice to people wanting to move to a different state is just travel their and look at houses but don't sell your current home incase you don't like the houses you looked at or if you tried living their but didn't really like it that you can always move back
I’d love to hear recommendations of places in GA. I am from Boston and work remotely but my firm in now based out of Atlanta. I travel monthly. I don’t need to be close to Atlanta BUT in GA. I have 2 school aged children as well. One lllll my son has Autism. I would love to get away from the snow!

It’s a tineco one s3! Best thing EVER! It actually only works for hard floors, but I do believe they make some like that!

@@AtHomeWithMansa it must’ve been the Shark Apex Uplight vacuum or the bissell carpet cleaner in the beginning. Let me see 🤣 I’ve never used the tineco on my carpets. It says not to on the directions, I have seen others use it on theirs but I’m scared to mess mine up lol 😆

Hi Tori. Welcome back!!!! I completely agree with your decision to move back. It sounded miserable. If you're not happy, you're not happy. I've heard people that live Orlando very seldom ever go to Disney and other tourist places because of the things you described. As the saying goes, "Home is where the heart is." 🥰. Question, does The Pink Stuff cleaner work on porcelain??

Orlando is not a great place - traffic is getting beyond overwhelming ! It’s ridiculous for the cost of electric - water - rent - car insurance! It’s far from magical- it’s hell
FL, a nice place to visit never want to live there; and so many UA-camrs are doing the same thing, and I just don't quite get it, too many, bugs, gators, toll roads, traffic, heat, humidity, expensive in general, did I say BUGS! BIG BUGS, oh, and lizards, lizards everywhere.
As a floridan I can tell you, we don't see gators often and lizards are expected but they aren't a bother, traffic dies down after the summer rush and the toll roads don't cost much and they are a great help if the interstate has a bit of a traffic jam or you need to get somewhere faster, and it's only expensive in certain areas like high end areas or fancy looking areas but their is alot of places in Florida that are inexpensive, Florida does get cold during the fall, winter months like freezing cold with cold winds like sometimes the high would be mid 40s and the low would be 30 degrees and I know the bugs can be an ick but they don't bother you just have to ignore them and think of the pretty ones like ladybugs and butterflies also Florida doesn't get that humid, you just have to look at the pretty side of it and all the nice areas 😊
